BIGGBY COFFEE — Restaurant in Kentwood

Went to get coffee at the east Paris and 28th biggby location…. I waited maybe 2 extra minutes (which honestly isn’t a big deal to me. I’ll wait an unhealthy amount of time for coffee) ordered my coffee and get to the window and the guy in the window said it’s free.. wish I knew his name because he is the sweetest, most cheerful man EVERY TIME I get coffee from this location. I of course start to cry and said thank you and he said “it was all meant to be. Keep going forward, never backwards” it’s those words that I needed most. Heavy heart is a lot lighter.

I see this man 2-3 days in the morning before I go to work… he really makes my day and he doesn’t even know it.

I had this rated 5 stars and with the best staff ever... but have decided to amend my review. I visit this location every Tuesday and Thursday to grab a sausage/cheese bragel and a coffee. My last 6 visits have been horrendous and I do not plan to go back. My bragel today (like every time my last several visits) was WRONG, but today it was also literally rock hard. My coworkers and I took turns banging it on our desks and watching it not dent, not move, nothing. ROCK HARD. Staff need additional training!

1. Greet a guest at the counter instead of just looking at them and widening eyes like ‘what do you want’.
2. Staff on cell phone behind counter leaning against the wall... Unacceptable. Most of the staff that work there are young. Manners and maybe “common sense” aren’t instilled in them. Train your people BIGGBY! Don’t assume they will rise to your wishes for quality service.
