Stumbled upon this place last week while visiting Sun Valley with my wife. We walked in and thought it was really cool. They have old liquor bottles and stuff on the wall with old license plates and signs and pictures. A stuffed cow's head and a shark! Pretty cool place to just come chill and sit with the locals after a day of skiing to each a greasy burger and fries. We picked an open booth at the back after we ordered our food. The gal helping us was very nice and friendly. She forgot our drinks but brought them out after we reminded her. My burger was kind of pink but didn't worry about it. My wife's was pretty over cooked. After about 10 minutes the gal helping us asked us to change locations because a older lady had come in and needed a seat. There were two open booths and plenty of stools around the bar and the pool table that had a hard top for people to eat around. We also had been there less time than anyone else and was still eating. There were other patrons in the other booths who had clearly finished eating and drinking but were just hanging around. Idk maybe it's a locals thing but thought that was rude and really...

Read moreThe food was alright, but I am not okay with dishonesty. I paid by credit card (no tip) and left an $8 cash tip on the table. Strange thing: the final charge on my credit card was for $5 more than it should have been. We went back to the restaurant before we left town to ask them about it. The manager produced a receipt with a five dollar tip added, apparently by an “enterprising” employee. When the manager originally went downstairs to find our receipt another employee asked her where she was going and she said, “overcharge,” which was enough of an explanation for the other employee. In other words, this might be standard operating procedure for this joint. Thankfully, the manager gave us the $5 overcharge back, but the whole thing should not have happened. Sure, it was only $5, but I don’t have any patience for that kind of theft and lack of integrity on the part of the...
