After booking dinner on a Saturday night via Resy, we unfortunately had to cancel same day after my wife was injured skiing. There was in enough time to fill a four-top from walk-ins, but the restaurant charged $200 for the late cancel anyway. Even after a polite phone call to explain the situation to the manager, she refused to budge on the cancellation fee. I felt she was completely unreasonable and unwilling to see the customers’ side of the situation. Horrible experience, I walked up to the counter with my friend to ask for a bottle referral to bring home, the man behind the counter just glared at me as if to say what do you want? It was uncomfortable at that point and then he had to make it worse by walking up to my friend and her service dog (with a very noticeable service dog vest) and just rudely stated “this is a restaurant”. She said it’s a service animal and he said hmmm and just walked away. I am appalled by this mans behavior so much so I wrote a review which is not something I normally do. Beautiful little spot. Great bao buns. Amazing very kind staff. So glad I checked it out :) EDIT: I came back again and I love it even more. The mussels and chicken skewers were also incredible. Even my toddler loved everything we ordered, and needless to say that at three years old she is a VERY picky eater. They have an elevator which made it super easy with the stroller, and they were so welcoming to us on a special and important night.
