Not sure why Google insists on calling this place P and G Restaurant. This is Los Reyes. Service is extremely friendly and food delivery was fast. By the same token...I'd have to compare that to when the place was busy. There is a smell of something chemical in the air...Not sure what it is. maybe varnish. The food was very good and portion size was very good. The margarita was also pretty tasty. The reasons this didn't get a 4 or 5 star are because of the smell, and the fact that when I was sitting in my booth admiring the airbrushed walls, I saw lots of ants (sugar ants) crawling from behind the panelling, up and across the wall. That's a huge downer guys. Luckily I'm a pretty cool and calm customer....And did not make a scene about it. They did not seem to go anywhere else but back and forth on the wall. This is still unacceptable though, by ANYONE'S standards. I will, however, be back to visit this place. Oh, yeah, the prices are pretty damn...
Read moreI cannot say enough good in this review: the restaurant was clean and well organized. It's a Tuesday night, so the special was BOGO beef tacos, and the place was half full. But the service was STELLAR!! It seems to be run by a family who are definitely of the Hispanic culture. I felt welcome, important, and valued as a customer. The music wasn't too loud, there was only one TV playing a game, and the lights string around were beautiful but not obnoxious. Obviously with one server, patience is a requirement, but I never waited long for anything: drink, chips, food, being checked on, you name it. The carnitas tacos were so delicious! Oh, and definitely try the margaritas. Jose is the best server I've ever had, and you should absolutely come here as soon as you're hungry for the best experience eating out...
Read moreI've been here once and probably won't ever go again.
We intended on having a full meal, with drinks and chip dips, but the smell of the place was terrible, and the service was very slow, so we only got one drink, paid, and left.
The complimentary salsa was some of the worst I've had, tasting more like bland tomato sauce and onions, and the chips were stale and tasteless.
The margarita my wife got was basic, and tasted like generic out-of-the-bottle store margarita.
The only thing I liked was the giant Dos Equis I got. It came in a large, frosted mug and was delicious, but since we had to leave and go find food we actually wanted to eat, I had to down it in 15 minutes.
I give them 2 stars, and not 1, because at least the table was clean and the floor...
