On March 22, I scheduled a birthday party for my son at 4 PM upon arriving the two gentlemen at the front desk were very kind in humor with the kids. I generally appreciate it. It helped us as customers and individuals feel welcomed after paying our party host showed us to our room, she then began setting up for the room which I was surprised the room was already set up ., she then began setting up for the room which I was surprised the room was already set up. I got no information of how the party would go. as far as what to do when we are ready to bowl or do our laser tag Drinks, anything. Mind you I paid for 11 children for the mega party, which came up to almost $300. so once the kids all arrived and we’re ready to go we’re ready to bowl what do we do? The kids are giving them their shoes and nobody’s telling us what lanes were on so after the kids have their shoes are questioning me so I go back up there to ask and we find out finally what lanes were on but nobody instructed us how to go about starting the games anything of that sort I just felt very left out in the wild to fend for myself in that situation . once we finally figured out how to begin the games, the kids started bowling when it came close to. I ordered pizzas for large pizzas an additional $70 on pizzas so now my total is almost $400 once I placed the order for the pizzas I let them know that we are there for the party. Could they please put them in the party room when they’re done so I’m tending to 11 children and have an infant with myself. They instructed me at the food area because the food wasn’t purchased with the party they could not mind you there was no mega party that included food, then proceeded to Go to my party host, which is a very kind, young lady, and tell her how disappointed I was and the fact they couldn’t carry four pizza 50 steps to the party room. The young lady was very kind and told me she would take care of it and thankfully she did once we’re done bowling. We got back in our room kids were waiting on the pizza to be delivered and they’re playing with the punching balloons that were supplied by the bowling alley, and in the mist of them hunting their balloons this older gentleman who I found out was a manager there came into the doorway of the party address the kids “what’s going on in here you sound like you’re breaking down my wall oh my God “ The kids all disturbed by this situation and completely confused look to me for answers. I myself was confused, not even knowing who this gentleman was, who came in there and disrupted the entire party, making a scene and embarrassing me in front of all these guest, then went up to the front desk to inquire about who this man was, and why he came in there, disrupting the party, disrespecting us, and being unprofessional, the man continued to get aggressive with me, and in my face yelling at me the gentleman I spoke with, was very calm and told me how he was a manager so I said I wanted to speak with this man Mike who is A manager, which I guess is the GM they refused to give me any information as far as contact information or his name. later, while in the party, the one gentleman from the company came into the party, apologizing about the older guy and told me the GM’s name and that he would be there on Monday. We wrap the party up with the laser tag and frenzy, where half the guns didn’t work for the kids in the laser Arena, so that was money wasted. Monday came and I called and spoke with the GM who thank me for not making a post online and told me he would address it and he would give me a call by Wednesday. It has been 10 days I have not heard from general manager in regards to anything and entirely upset and disappointed with this company as a whole, I spent $400 in organization for three, and in that span was disrespected and verbally assaulted by a worker. The quality of what I paid for was not there. The lack of unprofessionalism and respect was Very disheartening. I would not recommend this company to anyone especially with children . The...
Read morePaid for a two lanes of two hour pizza pins and pop for a birthday party. Plus I spent more money on extra pizzas, pop and the arcade. The staff, mainly the old man at the counter and a really young looking kid, was extremely rude and acted put out that we were there.
Apparently I should have known everyone’s shoe size in my party before they were even there. We didn’t even use all available 12 pairs of shoes but acted irritated whenever we’d come up to ask for a pair.
I asked them to put the bumpers up on one of the lanes as I had some kids including one with disabilities. The old man was very rude sighing and then asking “Well do you have anyone nine years or younger in your party?” Which we did. I then asked for a ramp, again for a CHILD with DISABILITIES, he literally rolled his eyes at me said yes and half yellled “get her a ramp too!” In the crappiest tone at the kid putting up bumpers.
We also spent money on the arcade and when it was time to use the tickets on the card I stood by the ticket desk and made eye contact with the younger kid and he looked away and ignored me. There was literally no one else at the desk there was the old man, young kid and a long haired guy talking amongst themselves.
We paid upfront in cash, bought extra things and cleaned up our party before the two hours were even up. I have no idea why they were so rude to me but it was completely unnecessary as I spent over $200 for two hours. Not too mention it was so packed it was barely enjoyable and only had 11-15 pound balls available for a...
Read moreI so want to give this place a better rating, so here's why 4-stars.
Full disclosure: I am an occasional "lets go bowling" bowler --- meaning around 3-4 times a year so I am not their bread and butter.
The whole building is very nicely maintained, good parking lot. The bowling is good and the food and drinks are surprisingly good. We often get a package deal --- shoes, lane, a pizza and drinks -- and we feel it's a good value. One of the better locations to bowl in town that I've tried.
While the lanes are maintained well and the location is clean and open, we have had some problems with ball-returns and pin resets, etc. Standard stuff, but when you are bowling on a timer (1.5 or 2 hour block) and you spend 15 minutes of that time waiting for these things to be fixed, it's not ok because their problems are my money.
Also, the staff could provide better communication. The last 2 times I've gone there have been issues, and each time I called day of bowling. The first time they said they were open that day but failed to tell me that there was a league bowling which took up nearly if not all their lanes... so we didn't get to bowl. The last time, again I called 1 hour before arriving, and was told there was open bowling that night. What they didn't say was they were having an event for a soccer league that would take up 30 of their 40 lanes and that it would switch to cosmic bowling (fun but not normal bowling conditions) while we were there. This should be relayed to people as we got the last lane when...
