I had a very memorable experience at this Restaurant. Because I had never been here before, I asked a staff member what they would recommend. They gave me a couple ideas of different variations of their menu so I could order what I wanted. The food was very good and it was nice and warm. The vegetable toppings were very fresh. The pasta was very good and you can tell by the texture that it was cooked well. They have curbside pickup and many people came and picked up their food while I was dining in. Expect to pay around $10/person. This varies based on what you get and what serving size you get, but it’ll typically cost around that much. This is a little more than I would prefer, but for the high quality food they serve, it was worth it. Tip: ask the employees what they recommend! They know their stuff and can help you find something to eat.

Usually have a good experience and food but they must be cutting down on portions (noodles, sauces, toppings etc.). Ordered grab&go online from Kettering location and when I got there it wasn't ready yet. Then they didn't have any bags left to pack my food so I had to carry it out as is. Had about 4-5 spinach leaves in my entire large bowl. Forgot our (or skimped so badly) spicy ranch sauce and cheese as we couldn't even tell it was in the bowl. Asked for a second sauce cup for cheese stick because it looked empty (see pictures lol crazy) and was told that's how they all are because that's how "they portion them." Never had a near empty sauce cup from any Piada before. Gave a 4 star as that's my overall lifetime experience, but this experience was a 1 star for sure.

Awful! I order 2 salads and 2 soups with a side of calamari. Not 1 thing came right. My salad was missing all of the toppings and the lettuce was soggy. Calamari was under cooked. And 1 soup and under half filled. Seriously Im paying $5 for this soup. Not to mention I found a something DISGUSTING that didn't belong in my salad. Honestly not sure what it is. I tried to call the restaurant to notify them of this and no one answer the phone. Save yourself the headache. Go to a different location.

Wow, love that this placed moved here. Never heard of them before, first time I went in the line was out the door.

It's basically Italian Chipotle. Which isn't a bad thing! And unlike chipotle, they offer more than just "Burrito" or "Burrito without the shell". The titular "Piatas" they sell are pretty good, but its easy to make one that doesn't taste good. Resist the urge to put everything in it - you'll get something much better if you mix and match the right stuff! Such as the bean salad is served ice cold, which I found very jarring when paired with the hot or room-temp ingredients I had put with it.

What really won me over though was the pasta. Unlike Chipotle, the "bowl" option is served with Angel Hair pasta instead of just the ingredients by themselves. They give you a TON of pasta for the price, and its easy to make a very filling meal last for leftovers with their portions. You can also get salads, which I've not had yet but look wonderful (Romaine blend or spinach, you choose what goes in and they give plenty of salad-friendly options too). Some food is cooked-to-order so it might take longer to get through the line than Chipotle, such as the crispy chicken.

I also love that they have a small specialty menu that offer stuff you normally don't get in the assembly-line (such as crispy calamari piata, or meatball carbonara pasta). I hope they rotate these out on a monthly or seasonal basis, just to see what they cook up next.

Service was excellent. Everyone there looks like they enjoy their job and its always great to interact with, even when stress is high during busy hours. I don't know if they are just well paid or hired very selectively (or both!), but it shows.

Price is also excellent. Its slightly more than Chipotle (about 50c higher depending on what you get), but theres a wider selection and everything (pasta, piata, salad) follows the same flat pricing. I know with the pasta I get more than my money's worth. Salads are a MUCH better deal than Panera too, considering you can get a similar variety of ingredients at the same quality at a much less exorbitant price (though Panera is cheaper if you get a basic salad). Such as having a Salmon salad with everything you can imagine on it as much as you want (except the salmon itself) for around $8, or a chicken salad for $6.85 or so.

This has gotten way too long, I rarely review anything so I felt compelled to give a good one I guess. Honestly, I give it five or ten years before we start seeing Piata's everywhere around the country and not just in Ohio, like we've seen happen with Chipotle and Panera. I...

Just came from here where I waited AN HOUR AND 15 MINUTES TO LEAVE WITH NO FOOD. I am beyond dissatisfied with this chain and how they've trained their staff to handle this entire situation. I'm past fuming and just fed up. I placed order for the "express pickup Lane" to be picked up at 12:15. I arrived at the express pickup Lane at 12:20 and waited in line behind TWO cars for 30 minutes. After about 35 minutes the first car pulled away and I chose to stay behind the second car. Two cars behind me then got fed up and went inside so I followed their lead and I went in as well. Not a single employee addressed me so I went up to the cashier who told me "oh I'm just a cashier and have no control over anything." I then asked him to find my ticket and make sure that they were preparing it. My ticket wasn't even in the line it was over to the side on a random table. I then asked to speak to his manager because I wanted a full refund but still wanted the food because I've wasted so much of my time there. After another 15 minutes he handed my ticket to a lady to get the refund (which she processed and I'm grateful for) and he said he would put the ticket back in the line to be made. I waited another 10 minutes to find out that they never even put my ticket back in the line. I left after wasting an hour and fifteen minutes of my time with no food. I drove 2 minutes down the road the Chick-fil-A, placed my order, got through a full drive thru line within 10 minutes. Just ridiculous. So so disappointed. I've had some pretty bad experiences with this chain not making my order correctly or waiting a small amount of time but this just takes the cake and I'm so over it. I will never be dining at...

Over the weekend a friend treated us to dinner from Piada. She ordered thru Door Dash. Piada doesn’t have much as far as selection and or suggestions or substitutions on their items. So we called to ask if we could substitute one sauce for another on one of the pasta bowls. I spoke to “Chef” Amanda and asked her if we could switch the diavalo sauce to marinara and instead of regular tomatoes, have the sundried ones. She said, after a long pause, since it wasn’t busy at the time we called she would do it THIS time and that’s it as they don’t take special requests normally. She also said she would make a note and be up front when the doordash order came thru. Which was literally seconds later.. when we got the food which came a half hour earlier then we chose (doordashs fault I’m assuming).. the pasta bowl that we had the special substitution request for was completely wrong. We got a bowl of plain noodles, no sauce at all. Now if a note was made and she was upfront when the order came thru like she said she would be why would the order be completely 100% wrong.. so our friend called again and let them know that even tho she assured us it would be changed it was all messed up. Amanda had an attitude yet again and claimed she made the item herself that it must not have been put in the bag... so we got some random bowl of pasta with no sauce. I love Piada and will probably continue to order from there but I think attitudes should be a little different and less like we are a problem to you. Also maybe offer more or even a suggestion section...
