Ferrari-Pizza Pasta Subs — Restaurant in Killeen

Unfortunately most of the other reviews are 100% accurate. I had a similar experance in that, I brought my wife and infant daughter to lunch here and were asked to eat our food outside on the patio. It wasn't rude but very strange as it was happening. We thought it was because he was out of seats and was offering the other dining area for our convenience. We soon realize that it was because my wife is Asian and because he doesn't allow any children under the age of 6 in his shop. Quite frankly the food is fantastic but the ower is a complete hot mess that has no business running an establishment that requires him to interact with the public. This is a sad, sorry, close minded person who I feel bad for. Someone that harbors this much hate for what he doesn't understand is a scary reminder of the past. He and his business with fade into obscurity with little thought from the world. Let him be...

I found Ferrari's Pizza in Killeen, Texas when i was first stationed on Fort Hood, Texas in 1971. I was looking for a pizza that was most like what i am use to in New England, being from a Maine fishing town that had many Italians and their version of what a pie or Italian sandwich should taste like. When i found Ferrari's I was blown away that it was like being back home the food was so authentic, of course it was very evident he was from New York ..when you have any kind of conversation with him you will hear some of the most colourful and entertaining language to come out of someone from New England..We call it Wicked Funny..so be prepared for the BEST pies and sandwiches around.. ..take it from a pie and sandwich...

The food is the best Italian Food I've ever had. I've been everywhere and I crave this spot and his brother's old spaces in Austin, Texas and Taylor, Texas. You can't beat the food. They are true italians and their mannerisms show it. Just take it as a laughing manner. Honestly, he is really a good guy. Just likes to talk a lot of s#i+. Which I find funny. Love this family.

I've known the Ferrari family my whole life. Trust me they are not racist. They just like to joke around and make blunt statements. My family is considered family by them. My father knew his brother and their mother very well. He's good people. Especially once he gets to know you.

Can't wait to get back to Killeen....
