Wow! Just wow! If you want authentic Korean food, this is where you should go. I’ve tried almost all of korean restaurants here in Killeen and I would say this is in my top 3. Just taste the kimchi and other sides and you will see.
We came here for lunch and ordered Bibimbap and Jjamppong. Next time we will try their whole Korean BBQ experience.
Bibimbap 10/10 lots of veggies, this will fill you up in the most balanced way
Jjamppong 1000/10 ITS SO GOOD!!! Probably one of the best jjamppong I’ve tried in my life!! The seafood were all fresh AND BIG! The noodles were amazing! It’s the best!! The soup was spicy and flavorful. If you like spicy please try it :)
The prices were reasonable, PLUS THE SERVINGS ARE INSANELY HUGE. You can actually just share one meal/dish with another person. It’s enough for 2 people. I believe the staff are the owners, but not sure.. either way, they were very friendly and accomodating. I will definitely come back here, this is going to be one of my go-to korean...
Read moreI lived in Seoul & Seongnam for almost 5yrs so I appreciate authentic Korean cooking. Been to this place about 9-10 times. This past Saturday the service was lacking. Food is decent with prices about median range. Different atmosphere during the week than on this visit. Some type of weird preselection on how they serve some patrons ahead of others. I thought it was me but I looked around and saw patrons at 3 other tables with that "WTF" stare - as ppl walked in after they did but were attended to right away. Could be they were overwhelmed idk.
Waited 46min for my yaki mandu appetizer. Told the gentleman waiting on me to just make mine to-go. He was apologetic but something else was in the air. They watch Korean TV during the week. This SAT they had Fox News on, maybe by request (?). Maybe I wasn't spending enough money ($27)
They are normally generous with the side dishes when dining in. Not for this order, which I changed to 'to-go'.
No worries. If I do go back I will order my food to go.

Read moreWe stopped in from out of town while visiting the Veteran’s Cemetary. At first glance, the building is unassuming and the prices seemed high. We gave it a chance because of the high ratings and we were sooo glad we did. The portion sizes are HUGE. The food was 100% authentic (not Americanized like some Chinese places are). It was freshly cooked and absolutely mouthwatering. We tried the Galbi, Kimbop, beef bulgogi and sweet and sour chicken. Let me tell you about this chicken. It was NOTHING like the sweet and sour chicken we know about. The breading is thin and light like potato starch or rice flour not thick. The sauce used was light and sweet/sour and the vegetables still had a crisp to them and not over cooked or under. Even in a sauce the chicken stayed crispy. Even though we are from out of town we will be back next time we are in Killeen and we will be spreading the word. So good and...
