Taco Bell — Restaurant in Killeen

This location has been one of our favorites for some time. We visit here frequently. Several weeks ago we found our food appeared to have been made with little care. There were as many ingredients outside of the wrapper as there were inside. The inside of our to-go bag was an obstacle course of lettuce, tomato, sour cream, cheese, etc. We brushed it off and figured that they might be a little busy, possibly short-staffed, and may be having a bad day. We then had the same experience a few days later. Again we brushed it off. Since then, we have had similar experiences each time we visit with only one exception. This presents a bit of an issue for todays customers. We are expected to understand that the food industry is short-staffed. We do. And we see and hear how a few employees get angry if you complain. And then, at times, do mean things to customers and their food. If there is no longer any quality control or care put in to customers orders, this will become a bigger issue for the business and its customers. Some customers don't want to complain and risk being mistreated or the butt of the 'joke'. They will simply quit patronizing stores where managers and staff are not ensuring quality products. That will not be good for anyone. Here is to hoping that this constructive criticism is well received and quality control...

It is 4:50pm, June 25th 2023 and this dude named Lorenzo working the drive-thru cash register, looking like he barely started working there, charged me $7.13 for two beefy melt burrito's and a large carbonated water. I know the policy on water in Taco Bell, I've been to this Taco Bell a hundred times before and never once been charged for a water with some bubbles. Dude had the audacity of putting it on the ticket as a LRG STARRY when I know damn well I didn't order that, if I wanted knockoff Sprite I would've just asked for Sprite. My order is always $4.33, regardless of what Taco Bell I've been to and this is genuinely upsetting as the guy had the nerve to debate with me, the customer, on y'all's water policy, get better employees. Let's not forget there barely being any beef in those burritos, %90 cheese and rice, thanks a lot for the trash...

I Just went through the drive through, and it took so long to the point where the window worker asked what I ordered and I didn’t even remember. I ordered 1 mini chicken quesadilla, and 1 spicy potato taco. The mini quesadilla was the worst I’ve ever seen. I worked at a Taco Bell in Austin for over a year so I know how everything should be presented and prepared. This is by far the worst Taco Bell I’ve been to. The spicy potato taco was poorly constructed, and had so much sauce on it that I couldn’t eat it without making a mess all over my clothes. The mini quesadilla had probably a pinch of chicken in it and all greasy sauce. I understand Taco Bell isn’t the best job in the world, but you should still atleast try and do your job.
