WALLY'S DONUTS — Restaurant in Killeen

I found this place recently while visiting the Killeen/Austin area and let me tell you: the DONUTS ARE UNREAL!! Incredible balance of soft and fluffy with the right bouncy texture of a freshly made donut. Personally, I usually go for the glazed (what can I say I’m a simple gal) but I got to try different varieties because my cousin bough a dozen, and boy did I enjoy them a little too much! Not to mention, I love supporting small businesses, and the owner was so sweet and kind. It’s a woman-owned minority small business, and being able to buy her donuts feels way better than supporting any national chain (sorry, not sorry, full shade to Dunkins). All I can say is don't make the same mistake i did judging a book by its cover. I had been missing out for years. My significant other took me here and boy am I ecstatic after years of Shipleys and Top Donuts who just don't compare. I had been trying to find a good pastry shop since moving from PA to TX. I tried the sugar covered donut and it was so fluffy, fresh and melting in my mouth. I will never go anywhere else in Killeen for donuts. Today was the first time I visited this place and OMG it was not what I expected, it was much more! I bought a dozen doughnuts, and a dozen kolaches. I took some home and some to my workplace to share with my coworkers and they were a hit! A few people asked me where I had bought them from and they said they would drive from Temple to Killeen to buy these! I'm not posting pictures because I didn't have time to do so, but just FYI they are so good and they are very affordable. I will most definitely visit this place...
