Wow, if I had been allowed to walk in maybe I could give it a few more stars. I came to Jacks on a Sunday before six only to be turned away from the door because they were “at capacity” I rather think it was because they didn’t want kids there since there bar was already full. As we walked out they let two gentlemen in even though no one left. Myself and the other adult in the group walked back to verify what the capacity was and how we were rejected only to be told that they were still at capacity and that the people that came in “had only been inside” even though they were clearly new patrons. I asked to speak to the manager. I was told there was not one available. Insisted in speaking to the Manager of Duty, only to be told by the door man that they couldn’t speak to me. The staff was unkind and unfriendly. Clearly we were not welcome because of our children. We were told that they could be at the bar, which is not true, nor would we have been. The staff member that finally spoke with me told me that we had many other options on the mountain that would be happy to serve us and that we could leave that they didn’t want to serve us any way. When I asked again to speak to the manager and that I would wait she came out from behind the bar and tried to physically escort me out of the bar for asking to understand why we were not welcome.

Finally a manager was found. Miracle, right? This gentleman while polite was unhelpful and honestly didn’t seem to care much.

If you’re the owner fire Sara and your door guy. This place was discriminatory towards family even though the door indicates that age limits are enforced after 9 pm.

Zero stars. So much for...

Came around 6:30pm for a bite to eat. In total it was 9 of us and we were quickly greeted by a member of the staff. After placing our name with the gentleman and being told it would be about 30 minutes, we played a couple of the games in the back. Everything there was well maintained especially the pool table. Around this time however the customer service started to fail us. We noticed the seating area was completely empty and clean. The gentleman from earlier failed to communicate with us that a table was ready and we ended up being the ones to push the tables together. The dining experience wasn't much better. Being the only ones there, it really did seem understaffed. Our waitress was nice and kind and took the time to answer our questions about activities in the area. We did feel kind rushed but toward the end of our experience the flood started to get busy. Food was alright, I ended up getting the philly cheese steak and it was worth it. Others in the party got the chicken and waffle sandwich only to find out the waffles were just frozen store bought waffles. Overall a decent experience it could've been better though. -pros Great game area Waitress was kind -cons All other wait staff Food...

Went with 2 others. Very nice, enjoyable dinner. We had the spring rolls, both veggie and pork. Crispy on the outside, pork was a little dry, but dipping into the sweet chili sauce and a creamy sauce with jalapeno made it good. The veggie ones were reported as okay. Nothing special. For our main meal, 2 of us had the cheese steak sandwich. They were big, served on a soft hoagie roll. We both felt that the filling was overcooked and dry. Again, saved by dipping into bleu cheese dressing that I had for my perfect side salad. The salad was fresh and appetizing. Onion petals were served with the other sandwich and were tasty. The 3rd sandwich was a grilled chicken breastbreast with guacamole, bacon, lettuce, tomato, onion and cheddar cheese on a grilled roll. The sandwich was wonderful. We all took half of our dinners home. They were quite large. Our waitress was cheerful and helpful. She recently started working at Jax' and still is getting used to everything, but she is energetic and enthusiast and is doing a great job. We will be back to try more of the menu, and watch tv on...

No am I not a local, not a former employee. We stopped in with high hopes assuming the bad reviews weren’t real. Atmosphere was mehhh, we went thinking there would be games and fun things to do. Doesn’t feel very welcoming. Nachos did not taste right, table of 5 couldn’t finish a small portion, overcooked cheesesteaks on hotdog rolls sized buns? Overcooked burger, wraps with old tasting, dried out chicken. They were nice enough to remove a wrap from our bill(reason for the 4 star service) but we all left hungry. This place was not busy, 1 other table, a band setting up inside. They automatically included 20% tip on the bill which was unbelievable. Most our tables food went to trash unfortunately. TouristTrap

Food and drinks were fine in that bar, even doh my cocktail was pretty week for the price . Worst part is service - first security guy didn’t want to let us in questioning my friends ID (my friend is 32 btw and looks exactly as his ID photo) but it’s not a big deal. After we got seated our waitress approached about 5 minutes later and never offered a menu. After I mentioned that we don’t have a menu she silently took it from Neighbours table and gave it to us with rude attitude. Whatever reason for that behavior is - it is not my issue to deal....

While the staff was nice and the food mostly tasted pretty good, they seemed severely understaffed and the servers were having trouble keeping up. They told multiple customers that they were struggling, and it took a very long time for the staff to come back to my table. They were doing their best, but there weren't enough servers to take care of the crowd. Additionally, the buffalo wings that I ordered were basically swimming in two inches of sauce. The taste was solid, but they created a huge mess and were sopping wet.
