I've been a Taco Bell fan for a very long time, and this Taco Bell, in particular, has been my go-to at least once a week, if not more for many years. Lately, something has changed for the worse, and I don't know if I'll be returning for a while. The black bean grilled cheese burrito is my current favorite menu item, but the crew, for some reason, just can't get it right. At least the last 4, if not 5 consecutive times I've ordered the black bean grilled cheese burrito, (no fiesta strips, no chipotle sauce), I've instead received a regular grilled cheese burrito. The last visit, they got it wrong again, but the lobby was closed, so I got BACK in line for the drive thru, waited my turn to let them know, and was given a new burrito. I suppose I should have checked the replacement before I drove home, but the young lady was so apologetic that I thought surely there was no need, but when I got home, THEY HAD GIVEN ME THE WRONG BURRITO AGAIN ! It wouldn't be such a huge issue if it hadn't happened so many times or if I actually ate ground beef, but it has and I don't, so I was at home with not one, but TWO burritos that I couldn't eat. On a side note, we've also repeatedly had to remind the staff to give us our beverages, and this location also pretty consistently doesn't have the items advertised by the promotional signage on and next to their drive thru menu. If you're not going to have these things, why bother putting the signs out ? I usually place my order on the app, so I used it to voice this complaint and requested that someone contact me, which was an option offered when sending a message, and I have never received a single response. I'm a believer that everything, good or bad, about a business or organization can be attributed to the leadership. If your staff consistently gets something wrong, the appropriate corrective action is obviously not being taken, and therefore, the leadership is the problem. I sincerely hope an improvement is made in the near future. Some might say "It's Taco Bell" as if we shouldn't expect better, but all I ask is to get what I ordered and paid for. It has been a very long time since I've experienced issues of this nature at this location, so I know they can do better, and they...
Read moreFOOD: I ordered 2 chalupa meals totaling $23.??. My BLT chalupa had literally 3 small pieces of chicken and 2 small crumbles of bacon. It was so light it felt empty. There was no sour cream that I paid extra for. The soft tacos appeared as if someone had vomit in them. My regular chicken chalupas had 3 small pieces of chicken as well with no sour that I paid extra for as well. Soft taco had the same appearance as the other two from the other meal. Both large Baja blast had no flavor with carbonated water.
SERVICE: It was 10 minutes before they closed. They had me sit at the speaker in silence until I said, “you all are not closed yet and corporate would agree if I contact them.” Only then did I get a response after several shouts of, “helloooooo...” THEN you can hear the employees in the background laughing as if it was funny. I was assuming they thought I would just leave if they didn’t say anything.
IVE NEVER GOTTEN BAD FOOD ANYTIME I WENT THERE RIGHT BEFORE THEY CLOSED DUE TO ME GETTING OFF CLOSE TO CLOSING TIME.
I called and spoke with the manager who told me unfortunately she can’t do anything without a receipt or the food (in which was disgusting so I put it in the trash so it wouldn’t smell as I didn’t know when I would be returning to Taco Bell being I have such tight schedule). I told her the employee never gave me a receipt only my two drinks and the bag of food that was sealed with a sticker. When I paid I used a card. The employee put the machine out the window and I placed my card in myself and then removed the card when prompt to do so. The employee then put the machine back in the window and came back with the two drinks and bag of food.
It’s the principle of the whole thing. It’s not about money nor free food. I hate when I receive bad service and even poor management. It’s a shame that it’s always assumed someone is in search of something free just because they make a complaint about service or products in which they spent their money on. It’s called paying for what you want not what someone wants...
Read moreI’ll share a public service announcement to start this review. A mobile order cannot be refunded. You must call customer service in order to obtain a refund for mobile orders.
That being said today I went to the Taco Bell location in Kingsland Ga. I only went because of the throwback menu bringing back items that I enjoyed. I went inside to order. There was no one taking orders at the register so I sat down and ordered from my phone. I received notification that my order was as been made. Some time later I received notification that my order was ready. I waited for my order to be placed on the shelf for mobile orders. They were busy so I waited a little longer. After 20 mins from time of order I asked someone to check the status of my order. I was informed by someone who later I discovered was the manager that they were starting in my order then. I waited another 20 mins my order was still not on the shelf. I had to wave someone over to the counter to ask for a refund. They asked for the name on the order and they said they couldn’t find it. I again requested a refund and it was explained to me that they can not refund orders from the app or online, only in store or drive thru orders can be refunded. I requested to speak with the manager figuring surely there was a way to resolve this issue. The manager informed me they couldn’t refund online orders and that I would have to call customer service. I waited in total for 40 mins received nothing and had to spend 25 mins in the phone to get a refund. I can’t speak for everyone however my time and my money are very valuable to my and in order for a retailer to earn my money and time I expect a certain level of service. The Taco Bell located in Kingsland Ga took both my time and my money and gave me nothing in return. I will not be returning to...
