This is for the McDonald’s on the corner of Stone dr. And brookside dr. We frequent McDonald’s quite a bit. Lately it has been daily since we need to pick up ice after our fridge broke. Two bags of ice everyday and of course along with that comes the occasional soft drink, frappe, cappuccino, cone, pup cup, etc.. just depending what kid or dog I have with me at the time. Usually we frequent the McDonald’s on ft Henry dr across from LJS & KFC. My pups have come to LOVE their drive through experiences with the staff, especially my daughters Alaskan Malamute who is almost always with me. She has come to depend on some of her favorite McD’s employees to always have a burger or pup cup waiting for her. Lately her pup cups consist of whip cream in a plain cone. Saves on her struggles with the actual cup, makes for less mess and gives her a satisfying crunch at the end. I have offered to pay for the cone by itself to go with the free pup cup whip cream but both times it was refused with the Ft. Henry store telling me “oh for gosh sakes no, it’s just an empty cone.” Yesterday When I offered to pay for the cone in place of a bowl that employee said “ I couldn’t even guess what the charge would be for an empty cone, don’t worry about it.” So far so good, until today 8/7/22 when making our daily stop for ice. I happened to have both pups with me who with tails wagging could not wait to see what todays treat was going to be., that is until we got to the second window and I asked for two pup cups in cones. When the girl at the window asked for the pup cones, a manager, (I am assuming) said absolutely not I can’t do that. When I pointed out that it had not been a problem before at this store and one other she (snarky attitude) said “well I don’t know why because it’s not aloud and they should never have done that.” When I offered to pay for the cones she said she would sell me the empty cones for $1.75 each! Their cones FILLED with ice cream are $1.59 each but an empty one with free whip cream was going to cost me $1.75 each. All the while her standing there at the window watching my pups hanging out the window wagging their tails in anticipation. If that’s not cold hearted then I don’t know what is. Two of the most important aspects of any business especially fast food is repeat business and loyal customers. This store just lost both today. Incase your wondering, yes they still got their treats. We went to a close by competitor where they enjoyed their flame broiled burgers followed by...

If you pull up at 15 minutes til 12am they'll tell you "I'm sorry we can't take any orders right now because our system just went down" or "I'm sorry we don't have employees to work tonight" but sure enough you'll see 4 or 5 of them outside during this time that they supposedly don't have any employees. It's every single night they give you one of these excuses. It's getting ridiculous. They're right next to the hospital so it's very convenient for us nurses to run there get a "quick" lunch. HA! There is absolutely nothing quick about this location. A couple of nights ago I placed a mobile order and they "lost" my order in their computer and took for ever even when I showed them the emailed receipt with the date and time it was placed. Speaking of mobile orders by the way, if you place a mobile and they try to give you one of the listed excuses above they must fulfill your order because you've already paid for it!
McDonald's if you're truly closed from 12am to 4am then you need to officially adjust your hours listed on Google or stay open like you're supposed to be. This is getting ridiculous!
Review from 3 years ago: Poor, rude customer service. The employees need to be educated on proper customer service or fired. There is no excuse for the rude service I received. The food was bleh; slow service spent 20 minutes waiting for my food; the cashier taking orders was beyond rude. If I was the supervisor and I seen my employee acting like that I would of walked them to the time clock. Also if your not going to serve ice cream no matter what time of day it is please take it...
Read moreI work at the Central McDonald’s in Blountville Tennessee and I would be ashamed if any of the employees at the McDonald’s were I work ever treated any customer under any circumstance the way I just got treated at this McDonald’s location the workers are very unfriendly and very very unprofessional I came through the drive through and got one simple Thing a LARGE STRAWBERRY MILKSHAKE and as I was ordering it I read a sign on there speakers that said and I state IF WE DO NOT SUGGEST ONE OF OUR NEW BAKERY ITEMS TELL US AND GET A BLUEBERRY MUFFIN FOR and here goes the kicker FREE so I go to get my shake and it is watery and runny as could be and had one little tiny spot of whip cream on it so I asked if I could have it remade and also asked about their sign on the drive through and the girl told me okay hang on and went and got a different girl and she said and I quote we can not make you a different shake and we only promote are bakery items from 8 to 10 in the morning and it says that on the sign out there and it doesn’t say anything about the hours on that sign is what I said because it doesn’t and she told me that I was lieing to try to get free food and then she said that she refused to make me a different shake because I’m just trying to get free food and then continued to tell me to leave her store and shut the window on me after I had asked her 4 times for a manager and then she shut the window on me so yeah I will never be returning to this McDonald’s location I am highly unsatisfied and I very very much do not appreciate being called a lier over something that is...
