Five Guys — Restaurant in Kingwood

Decided to give this place a try for the first time and was extremely pleasantly impressed!! It was absolutely delicious. Restaurant itself is extremely clean and I loved reading all the articles and award stuff on the walls. Staff was incredibly friendly and helpful about the food. The lady that took our order explained the menu so we didnt order more than we could eat! Was very happy to munch on complimentary peanuts with shells! When we recieved a giant brown bag (as we were dining in) we sat down and looked in the bag to find it filled up with the fries!! Werent expecting that but had a great laugh as we tore into our delicious bag of goodies! All of the toppings on their burgers (and shakes) are FREE!!! I got a normal burger with everything on it with grilled mushrooms and grilled onions. It was so delicious!!! I wanted another one!!! Juicy, warm and fresh!!! Was very impressed! The fries were freshly cut from potatoes ( that theres even a sign on the wall saying where thr taters came from that day!) And seasoned with cajun spices! I would highly reccommend this place to anyone who hasnt been here. I wish i had the chance to try this place before somewhere, i know theyve been open for a good number of years. This one just opened up down the street from me and i will definitely be a returning regular customer!! Great job guys! 5 stars...

I've visited this location on several different times but by far this was the worse experience.. We arrived & placed our order at 6:12 p.m., cashier called back 2 patties, took the next guest order. it was order #60 in front of us, our order #61 & then order #62. We're patiently waiting & I start noticing the young man on fries was taking extremely long with making fries, placing in bags & calling out for pickup. It was taking him so long that I was able to witness the manager give an employee who was off his check, sign for it & even tell him where he could cash since he didn't have a bank account & still our order wasn't ready! The young lady who took our order walks to the guy doing fries & asked him why he didn't call out an order that was ready & he tells her he was busy? that's literally his job but she calls out order #60! now I'm frustrated & walk up & state plz hurry up & stop playing with the fries as I need to leave! then & only then the manager asks what's the problem? the problem is I need to leave & he's playing with the fries! she proceeds to say it's his 3rd day or 1st day on fries & he's in training! if that is true then someone should be assisting or at best monitoring him which was not the case! I didn't leave until 6:29pm. so now my burger is cold & he OVERCOOKED the fries & they are extremely...

I just wanted to write and tell everyone about the amazing customer service at Five Guys on the Grand Parkway in New Caney. Store# TX-1843. I stopped in for lunch on 7/31 around 2:30pm and was greeted immediately by the cashier, April. I ordered a cheeseburger, fries and a drink and the total came out to just over $12. I had just come from the bank because my debit card had been turned off for fraudulent activity so I had to withdraw cash for the week. All I had was a $10 bill and a $100 bill. I asked if April was able to make change for the $100 and unfortunately she didn’t have the cash in her drawer and the store was having issues with their safe so she couldn’t make change. April could have easily advised me to remove the fries or drink from my order to bring the cost down under $10 but instead she very graciously comped my fries and drink to bring the total down to $8. I asked her to keep the full $10 but she just smiled and declined to keep the change. I received my meal cooked by Johnny and the burger and fries were delicious!! I also received enough fries to feed a small army 😂. That small action may not have meant much to April but it meant a lot to me and made my day. I would definitely recommend this location to anyone for their great food and spectacular...
