Chick-fil-A — Restaurant in Kingwood

I have never had such horrible service at a Chick-Fil-A!!! I went through the drive thru to place my order and the lady took my payment there on her tablet. I had two different orders once I pulled around the corner there was a station set up with another employee handling out receipts. After moving up to the window I realized I had only received a receipt for one of the orders. They were busy so to avoid holding the line up to look through my bag for the other receipt I pulled forward to a parking spot. After passing out food we were short a Cobb salad. I went back through the drive thru explained the situation to the lady in which she went in to get a manager. I was told he couldn’t do anything because they failed to give me a receipt and that they were too busy for him to look through their computers and asked for me to come back after lunch! I informed him that I could not come back and that I needed the food I paid for so my 14 year could eat her lunch. He told me he couldn’t give me the salad that I could purchase another salad and when they weren’t busy he would look at the computer and refund my card. I pulled up my banking app to show him how much I had paid for my meal then went to the Chick-fil-A app and put everything I purchased in the cart and showed him the price which was actually cheaper than I was charged in the drive thru. After getting frustrated and feeling like I was only wasting my time I decided I would just pay for the other salad. I gave my payment for another salad to the employee and she went in to grab the salad. Once she returned she said that a manger higher than the one that came out had looked at the computer seen I DID pay for the salad and returned the payment for the second salad I was going to buy. I just had the worst Chick Fil A experience I’ve ever had. I go through the drive thru after a long day of baseball with hungry kids and Crystal takes our order. Never asks if I will be using my chick fil a app or rewards. I ordered our meals a specific way because I know if using rewards the items need to be separate for the app to take them off your check. Also at the time of ordering I was asked what sauce were wanted for me order and I mentioned our request and was told “ma’am you can only have 4 sauces”…. Since when did Mayo & ketchup become classified as sauces and since when did they start limiting how many your allowed!? Upon arrival at the window I have the app scanned and only one reward comes off, I proceeded to tell the young man that I ordered a drink separately so the app would take it off. He explains this to the managers inside the window and Crystal comes out of left field shouting “it doesn’t matter how it’s rung up she doesn’t have the reward”. At this point I am completely appalled that my ordering and my rewards are being questioned as I’m a repeat customer and know how to properly order. Management said NOTHING to her for her tone, attitude and approach to the whole situation. I am so disappointed in the staff who “took care of me”. The food was delicious like always, my only issue and concern is the play area. Management or employees don't do anything about it they let older children play in the play area and there are a lot of younger kids. It should be brought up to parents attention or the employees get the older kids out of the play area. Is very dangerous to have older kids in there when young kids are playing in there. I did bring it up to an employee's attention because a child was climbing on the outside of the play area and she simply said we have cameras the parents are very delicate if we say anything. In my mind, I was like OK, and went on with my business. Then 3 boys come in I would say probably 10 or so and big kids.. I stopped them and told you guys can't play in there yall are too big and tall to go in there... Look back on your cameras in the play area...and see how these older kids go in there and don't let the pre-schoolers enjoy their time..This really should be addressed and Parents with bigger and older kids if they want to eat Chick-fil-A and play take them to the park or to your backyard to play... shame on the parents who allowed their older kids to go in the play area. I'm rating a 4 stars until the play area gets better attention.. (I went on a Tuesday and Wednesday) back to back and both days were the same issue...
