Romio's Pizza & Pasta — Restaurant in Kirkland

First time ordering here and I’m disappointed. I ordered two 10” pizzas, mozzarella sticks, a side Cesar salad and a cannoli.

The website and the order portal had two vastly different menus which was confusing. In the order portal there were pictures of the food, for the cannoli it showed two in the photo and in the description there was nothing about only getting one. The cannoli was really hard to bite into and the cream inside was grainy, lumpy and not very flavorful, overall gross.

The pesto pizza looked and smelled amazing but the crust was not good. It was very thin with holes in the bottom of it and it was their garlic crust which I didn’t order for this pizza. I ordered their traditional crust. You couldn’t taste the garlic in the crust, just smell it (barely). And there were doughy spots near the edge where it’s thickest. The chicken was in large chunks which was fine until you got a bite with a lot of chicken, it was very dry and didn’t taste seasoned. The walnuts on the pizza didn’t go well, if there’s pine nuts on the menu then they should be on there to go with a pesto sauce but that part may just be me and my fiancé. There was very little flavor to the whole pizza.

The Olympian pizza again, looked and smelled great. Same issue with the crust except no garlic, this is the pizza I ordered it with. I wanted to add a few toppings and was a bit upset when I saw it was $2 per topping. It was disappointing to find only 4 mushrooms! There was very little red sauce one this pizza.

The mozzarella sticks were okay, not very hot when I got home (about 8 minutes) which is not the end of the world but I’m sure they would be so much better hot. The marinara sauce it came with was amazing! And the side salad was great, good dressing. Just needed a few more croutons.

Not even 30 minutes later I was feeling sick and was stuck in the bathroom for a long time.

I had the Philly cheese steak sandwich here about a week ago - I still really liked it! It was seasoned pretty well and the cheese was melty and delicious on the slightly toasted (not hard enough to break teeth which is nice for me) and just was more than acceptable. The french fries aren't gross, they are baked - some people aren't used to this, and it was a surprise to me but they were good! I enjoyed them :) The places isn't as greasy as some people have made it out to sound (of course I haven't tried the pizza yet, but want to) - I say, give it a try when you are in a relaxed food mood - it's nothing special, but it was tasty, the service was friendly and refilled drinks often, and it didn't make me sick - all of these things are a win win in my book and gets this place a good rating. The food takes a little time to make it to your table (if you eat in) but that didn't really bother me - just an acknowledgement that it might take a little time to get...

I am going to start off with, most delivery places resent delivering to your work place, and I understand that. When I ordered Romio's today and had them deliver, I had them call me so I could run down and grab it as I was at work and couldn't stand around outside and wait. I was unable to answer the phone when the call came, as I was occupied with important work tasks. When I called them back 10 minutes later and the guy was still waiting for me and gave me my food as soon as I ran down to greet him. He was not upset and very understanding about my situation. The food was great and was a surprising amount for what I paid for. I understand that when it comes to delivery, there are always people being very difficult about anything that goes wrong with the situation (both customer and employee alike). What I am really trying to say is, my experience here was invaluable and I will always appreciate...
