I walked in at about around 5pm this past Tuesday and sat at the bar. There was probably 6 customers in the restaurant total at the time. The bar was completely empty and there was a huddle of waitresses talking in the corner of the room near the entrance to the kitchen. The 3 waitresses near the entrance of the kitchen saw me sit down. I sat there for a good 7 minutes and no one even so much as asked me if I wanted a menu so I walked over to where the menus were and sat back down at the bar. While I was reading the menu, an employee walked past me with a carside to go order so thus far 4 employees saw me sitting at the bar. 15 minutes go by and no asked me what I wanted to drink or even acknowledged I was there. I then got up and decided that I would take my money elsewhere.
Apparently these waitresses think that they will make money without having to do any work. Considering the fact that the bulk of their pay is tips... I am pretty sure they will learn that this approach won't serve them well. I am also confident the manager of this location is useless because the manager was aware I was sitting there and didn't seem to care. If you want to sit for a long while and be treated like a burden rather than a customer then I highly recommend this place.
To the Chili's employee who is responsible for responding to all negative comments with the same boiler plate message. Please don't insult me by instructing me to contact you via your website. Just fix the problem. It's obvious based on the reviews that I am not the only one who had a bad experience here. Your staff is useless and that is the fault of management. You need to...
Read moreFood was awesome. Waitress was pregnant but seemed too ignore us in favor of the bar people for better tips I guess. Or she took it for granted we would just give her the standard top. Nope. Bill was $70. But we have her $5. We didn't get tea refills so we had too grab a pitcher of teas and just kept it. We couldn't get dessert. Just say there waiting and waiting. That's what happens when you're trying to get all the tables the bar and all the tips. We felt neglected. But the food was so awesome. Love the glasses. Waitress needs to learn people want service. The tip probably won't phase her. She misjudged us. We would have given her $20 if she would have done her job. Oh well. Never judge people from their looks. My husband just got out of a surgery. It was a long day for us and it was excruciating for himto sit there so long. Our daughter was also on oxygen. She needs to get taken care of fast because her oxygen only lasts so long. She seemed nice just not good at doing her job. Others were serving us not her. Others got us tea not her. Others got napkins not her. She seemed like she would be great at first but after taking the order and serving my daughter her salad didn't see her anymore. She was going shook fast didn't even want to wait until we got our order in. She just had to many others to grab her tips. Geez. She was a huge disappointment. She could have gotten a huge tip from us for more than the bar tips. Only 2 people there. The thing is unless you're ordering liquor she's not interested. She also seemed too know everyone at the bar. Not sure what her actual problem was But I hope she got...
Read moreAlright, this was just a very weird experience from the moment we walked in. The hostess took us to our seats and walked backwards the entire time which is fine, but unconventional to people who aren't used to it, I guess. I was a little weirded out. Here is how our experience with our waiter went (he never told us his name and I didn't think to look and see if he had a name tag until I decided to leave a review, so please forgive me): Forgot lemon with drink. Did not ask us to refill our drinks, we had to flag him down (I personally didn't ask the entire time just to see if he would notice and was out of my drink about 10 mins in). Did not take previous drinks back with him when refilled so multiple empty cups with ice sat on our table the entire time we were there. Gave a half cup of ranch for 25 onion petals (asked for more). We told him we were doing 2 for $25 deal and he gave us a check for $40 and did not ask about our dessert despite us telling him multiple times. Once we told him he didn't add on the deal we asked for, he went in and fixed it so that was fine. We did not want the desserts to go, but we recieved them to go so we just took them, paid, and left. Overall our waiter slow, didn't seem like he knew what he was doing and we were his only table halfway through our dinner. The food was very good and I have no complaints, we had the cajun pasta and bacon/chicken/ranch quesadillas. That is the only reason I am giving this review an extra star. We will...
