I went I bought, I drank….

Meh.

So you order with no menu and an employee standing at your window. She kept having me pull up but then couldn’t walk fast enough so I just sat there. Very awkward.

Then when I pulled up to get my drink, which, I was one car back so it didn’t take long, the next person was engaging but the interaction is weird. Her job is to stand out at her station and for us stare at me. She then started talking about the weather…I mean it was awkward for everyone.

If you like coffee and the taste of coffee then probably not the way to go as an overall opinion. If you like coffee that is eerily close to the coffee you can get from the “specialty coffee” machine at QT then it is right up your alley. Tastes very much like a powdered drink mix with maybe a shot of espresso…maybe.

They didn’t have a menu with details of size and prices. When I asked the sizes the woman gave me wholly wrong information. I did look up a menu online but still not overly informative on prices etc.

I ordered a medium drink, hot, with coconut milk $7 and every part of me wants to go get real coffee. My brain cannot even recognize it as real. It is again, over processed, low flavor, quick money. One of those times it feels like we might be moving g closer to the world depicted in WALL-E.

I am giving it two stars because it is fine, they use some weird preservative that is leaving a weird taste in my mouth but for an undiscerning human or a child, it is fine.

Edit - I came back and dropped it to 1 star. I had a meeting came back to my drink and it is less desirable than the first introduction. What ever is in here is making me react. I am typing this as I am waiting in line for a real coffee.

I’ve waited soooo long for 7 Brew to come to STL. The Chippewa location was out of my way so when I heard the Kirkwood location opening I was beyond thrilled. I went on opening day and got my free shirt which is soo comfortable. Now, onto the drinks and muffins, since the opening I’ve gone AT LEAST 12x as of this morning lol. I’ve tried the chocolate chip and blueberry muffins and will say the cc muffin was a little too sweet for my taste but the blueberry was fantastic! As for the drinks, every single one has been fantastic in flavor and smoothness. I’m not one to steer away from my comfort drink but I’m trying everything because I can due to the endless options! I will say the cold foam didn’t last from the drive-thru to the hwy overpass which is a little disappointing but cold foam isn’t really that big a deal for me like it is others. For service, I would say for the most part has been great. I have noticed that the pace to get people in and out has slowed in the last week from the opening but it is still more fast than a lot of any drive thru places. All in all, I’ve had great experiences and am excited this location is on my way to work and although some of these reviews are negative, I think it’s important to remember this shop JUST opened and this is where cracks may show but that it can be better. SO DONT WRITE IT OFF...
