White Castle — Restaurant in Kirkwood

I went in on 11/27/24 and wanted to order two meals. There were a few customers in front of me. The behavior of the staff was unprofessional. Whoever was running the cash register had their pants below their rear end and put their hands inside their pants waistband to pull their pants up. The staff was loud and discussing personal matters in front of the customers. The person who was running the cash register went on break and came out and bent over the counter where I was waiting in line to order, with their pants below their rear end, to show an employee working behind the counter their phone with someone on a face time call. The person working behind the counter started shouting happy birthday to whoever was on the phone. The two customers in front of me left with free food, apparently because either someone didn’t know how to run the register, or the register was down…I couldn’t tell because no one was communicating clearly. So I began to order and was asked what I wanted and when I began to say what I wanted, I was told that I couldn’t be helped because I was using a credit card and because my order was too big. And I wasn’t told those words..I can’t even remember the words that were used. Mostly cartoon emotional overreaction from the employee, but I figured it out. …an announcement to customers in line should have been made letting them know that their system was down and that they could only accept cash payments. Instead, four customers in front me got free food, I suppose because their order was “small enough”, and I wasted my time waiting in line, enduring the obnoxious interactions of the employees. I also learned while waiting in line that the manager wasn’t going to be there for 2 weeks. Please send someone to manage this store because...

Let me start by saying the White Castle app sucks. First, it doesn't update your location, so I've made the mistake of ordering to the wrong one. I've also had it cancel my rewards in the past, but today it didn't make it clear that my reward of a free side item was only valid for 15 minutes after I hit the button. On top of that, it was also only valid "at castle" (so I couldn't place a mobile order with it). I was planning on going to WC after work, and clicked the reward as I was leaving with the intent of placing a mobile order. It was a 15 minute drive to this location. So naturally, when I clicked the reward and it gave me a 15 minute countdown, I was sweating. I really wanted some cheesy fries. Of course, traffic was bad so I pulled in to this location a minute after the reward expired. I explained the situation to Cory (Cori?) in the drive-thru, who honored the reward anyway. I am so grateful that this worker heard my situation and gave me my cheesy fries despite the reward being expired by a minute....

Oh. My. God. You want to talk delicious-ness? These burgers are little bits of heaven. So good in fact, that I bought a crave clutch at lunch time. I ate 8 of them for lunch, then polished off the remaining 12 for dinner. Half jalapeño cheese, half ghost pepper.

Everything went great. I was stuffed and what me and my girlfriend call "fappy" (fat and happy). I went to sleep, only to be woken at about 3am with shooting pains in my rectum. I sat in the bathroom for about an hour sweating and clutching on to my knee pits for dear life. Finally, I was able to return to bed only to have to return to the throne a half hour later.

What I'm trying to say is, that if you are looking for some of the most delectable burgers around, try White Castle. Amazing little burgers - but be prepared to make a deal with the devil if you hope for a good night's sleep. All in...
