We celebrated our anniversary at this restaurant tonight. This is an unassuming restaurant. It’s pretty when you arrive and does offer valet if needed but it will not strike you as an expensive place. You do not feel pressured to dress up. Most are dressed business casual or comfortable. It has a nice rustic feel on the inside. This is like a $40-$50 a person place if visiting at dinner time and well worth it! They do have a very reasonable lunch menu. All of the waiters or waitresses have assistants so the service is outstanding! You never have to wait for a refill or look for someone. They are always checking on your needs. The food is really good! The salad is to die for! It’s probably my favorite STL salad! It’s served family style. It has carrots, cucumbers, red onions on the lettuce and in separate beautiful containers are hot croutons (which I could make a meal out of), feta cheese and 2 homemade signature dressings that are super delicious! The white dressing is a pear tree vinaigrette and the red is a madam French dressing that has a small kick to it! I can never decide so I have half on one side of my salad and the other on the second half of my salad! I love them both although I may like the French just a tiny bit more. We have had the crab Rangoon, the onion rings and lobster bites so far as appetizers. They are all super tasty! My husband had a chef’s surf and turf special tonight. Which was an 8oz filet and a lobster tail. You can have the lobster tail grilled or fried. He had it fried. It was unbelievable! They brought out little candles with a tiny skillet of clarified butter in it for the lobster. It was a nice touch! I had the 16oz ribeye which was the small one. I only could eat half but they box it up nicely. The steak comes rolled out on this cart. The baked potato is opened in front of you and tastes so fresh and the steak placed on the plate. They dip the au jus onto the plate around the steak. I really don’t know how to describe the steaks! They are in house hand cut and wet or dry aged. Don’t ask me what that means but you can taste it!! Wow! I love the jumbo baked potatoes that they serve with butter and sour cream on the side. I tried the au gratin potatoes that are considered a premium side but the baked still remains my fav! Their signature dessert is their wedding cake. My husband loves white wedding cake so this is his jam. I have had the cheesecake which was delicious but tonight I had the German chocolate cake. It was not the traditional German chocolate. The topping was like a mousse. The ice cream that came with it is homemade. It outshined the cake! Yum! The meal was outstanding, the service...

This was our first time dining here and it's actually attached to a Holiday Inn. I'm usually hesitant about restaurants that are in or attached to a hotel especially a HI but it was recommended by my husband's co-worker so we thought we would try and see. We were dining/celebrating with my sister and her husband too. They all love steak. So we got the bone-in ribeye which was $150 and came sliced and was prepared medium rare. It was a decent sized portion for the price, and the whole thing was finished. My BIL also ordered the KC strip which was $70. I tried a little of each steak, and I probably liked his a little better than the ribeye. I thought the ribeye was a bit overly fatty for my taste but everyone else seemed to enjoy it. My sister got the scallop special. It came with puréed sweet potatoes and broccolini. She said it was very good. I tried a scallop and thought it was pretty good. We got 3 apps to start: the king crab legs app which were served cold and split($70); the toasted brisket ravioli($20); and 6 raw oysters ($25). I had one of each. My fave was the king crab leg of course. We also ordered martinis, and they were made on point and with blue cheese olives. The house salad and Ceasar salad were served family style. The two steaks came with a choice of potato so we chose a loaded baked and shoestring fries. The fries were greasy and limp, so I would pass on them...Before my sister and BIL arrived I told the server we were celebrating our anniversary, and they were newly weds and we were celebrating and treating them to dinner. When the plates were cleared she brought out only one thin piece of their sig piece of wedding cake to my sister and BIL and 4 plates and said congrats to them. Considering our bill was $500+ before tip, I think it was in poor taste not to bring us a piece of wedding cake too considering we were paying the bill lol. She was mainly attentive and friendly otherwise but that was a misstep in service imo. It's not like we spent just $100 lol. Also, she kept calling the men "boss" which is cringe bc I'm the actual boss lol...The ambience here is kind of like a casual western vibe, no need to dress up although the prices are high! My husband claims to be the steak snob but honestly I'm the one with the better palate and these steaks do not really compare to mid level Chicago steak houses at cheaper prices...I've had better steak and sides but overall the food was good and we had a pleasant meal and experience so I would give 3.5 stars if halves were available so I'll...

I'm extremely disappointed. This was the third time I tried TTS. Before I go into my disappointments, I must say that the valet guys opening the front doors were very nice, considerate, and were the only ones that showed what customer should look like. Thx guys.

The first time was unimpressive but I assumed bc I got there an hour before closing, the team was more focused on getting out of there than service. It was not busy that day but we were left unattended at our booth as if they forgot we were there. I will say the food was good - once we finally got it. But my friend insisted that it was a good place so I tried it again.

The 2nd experience was above average. We sat at the bar, had great service from the bartender, drinks were excellent, but the food was very dry. Overall good experience.

This third time was very disappointing. I ordered a meal to go. Since i was getting off work, i called in the order, paid in advance, and was told to allow 15-30 mins. It took over an hour to get my food. Places get busy and thats understandable. The disappointment is in the service. I went inside, they asked me to stand at the bar by the hand rails. I stood there 30 mins waiting. The bartender never asked if I'd like a glass of water or if I'd like to order a drink while I waited. No one ever thought to offer me a place to sit during this extended wait. The manager walked by me 7 times and never asked was everything ok. The couple next to me was upset for the same reasons. It was impossible not to notice me standing there in a heavy, bright red coat.

Finally my food came. I walked to my vehicle, opened everything to check it, and the lobster bites were cold 🥶. The shoe strings fries smelled old ( that smell that food gets when it's been sitting out). I requested Ranch for the salad but French and Blue Cheese. The Prime Rib was pleasantly well prepared and not a disappointment, however, the experience was ruined for a 2nd time. After working all day and paying $136, food plus tip, this place has lost my respect. Based on the way the manager bounced around playing with the hostess instead watching the restaurant, I'm not surprised at the service. The thing about standing and waiting is that I had time to closely observe a lot that was going on. I'll just say, you guys should pay closer attention to your bartenders. Thanks for...
