Mr. & Mrs. Crab - Kissimmee — Restaurant in Kissimmee

So this is my second Mr. and Mrs. crab to visit in Florida this particular one we walked in and when we were seated, it took 25 minutes for them to come and even ask us for a drink order bring us menu or anything like that I happen to notice that the table in front of us they had the order wrong and the guy kept having to go back-and-forth to be able to correct the order and they overcharged the person sitting in front of us. There was a lady at the door who was picking up a to go order and she was on the phone very loudly upset because they messed up her order as well so walking in the door expectations were already a little bit low. Anyways, we ended up sitting down and I ordered the S4 which is 3995 and I added three eggs to it which the eggs were $1.50 each and then me and my partner both ordered a water with the Mr. and Mrs. Krabs special seasoning and it was mild while we were sitting there we were talking and we were really engaged in our conversation. The server comes by and puts down a plate of food and then just walks off so we start eating the food and as we are eating the food, I looked at my partner and was like did you get a lobster tail And he says no I don’t know what was in it. You ordered it and I was like OK maybe I ordered the wrong thing we proceeded to eat the food. He likes lobster tail so it was fine regardless and as we were in the middle of eating the food, I see the servers walking back-and-forth back-and-forth, looking at us and then running back to the kitchen and finally the manager comes up to us and says we accidentally gave you the wrong food we gave you the Cupid some thing so we’re just going to swap it out and charge you for this one because this one’s way better And I’m a pretty passive person and I wasn’t going to ruin my vacation. I just was like OK and proceeded to continue enjoying my time with my partner eating my food while we were eating the food. It got really gross over there. I know I can’t control anyone around me but just making it aware as to why I gave one star for the atmosphere at one table. One person was like consistently sneezing for at least a good 10 minutes back to back. The person on the table next to us across, was blowing their nose and then wiping their hands with their snotty towel, and then the person behind us was coughing incessantly being the person I am, I was grossed out and I was like I don’t even want to eat anymore. Find the person to be able to get the check to be able to leave ended up walking around and going to the bathroom and finding someone that was just standing at the bar saying hey can we get the check when I came back to the table? We still didn’t have the check and then maybe two or three minutes later the server came and dropped off the check and walked off when I looked at the pricing for the open “swap out” we ended up paying almost $100 for something that wasn’t our fault because we didn’t order that specifically Again just being the passive person I am I went ahead and paid it and then me and my partner left would we ever come back to this Mr. and Mrs. crab again mainly because of the price and service and because they made a mistake and ended up making it the customers fault on a sidenote there is also this weird message on the menu that says essentially if you don’t know what you’re ordering don’t order it because the cost of food is so high right now that they’re not willing to refund anything that’s already...

Despite some reports that the spice levels are misleading—with mild being more like medium, medium like hot, and hot like extra hot—I found the spice levels to be correctly listed. The mild had just the right amount of warmth, the medium was pleasantly hot, and the hot provided an intense but enjoyable heat. The sweet potato fries were a highlight, perfectly crispy on the outside and tender on the inside. Paired with the brown sugar butter, they offered a delightful sweet and savory combination that you shouldn't miss. These fries were an excellent side, enhancing the overall meal.We also tried the shrimp basket, which was decent but a bit bland compared to the boils. To improve its flavor, I dipped the shrimp in the leftover boil sauce, which made a big difference. If you decide to get the shrimp basket, I highly recommend pairing it with one of the available sauces.

Service: Despite being clearly overworked and overwhelmed due to the high volume of customers, our server was incredibly polite and nice. She maintained a positive and friendly attitude throughout our visit, doing her best to accommodate us and ensure we had a pleasant dining experience. Her politeness and effort were much appreciated, even though the service was a bit slower due to the busy environment.

Value for Money: The seafood boils are reasonably priced considering the quality and quantity of the food. The flexibility to choose your spice level and sauce adds to the overall value.
