I am writting this review because of a recurring issue with one of the female workers. on 08/29/2019 at 7:18pm. (Caucasian female between 18 to 20 years old, long dyed light dirty blond hair wearing a tan t-shirt uniform.)my concern is this worker seems to care more about socializing and gossiping with other workers, instead of paying attention to door dash orders.for the 4th time including on 08/29/19 at 7:18pm I came in to pick up an order.the restaurant was not busy.I spoke with this worker, providing the name for the order, that I was door dash. when the order came out she placed the order behind the register closest to the fountain area(I could see the name on the receipt)and then went to gossip with a co-worker. a small framed white Caucasian female with long straight brown hair and a ti dye uniform.i politly asked for the order and was ignored by both workers.I waited.5 min go by and its past the pickup time.i ask again more loudly and was still ignored.both still gossiping at the registers at the other end( I'm at the counter) once a customer comes up to order the girl stops talking and starts taking their order still ignoring me and the doordash order. I then had to ask once again even louder politely for the order and another worker finally came up and apologized.young white Caucasian female with brown wavey hair.she took care of me and the order. I told her she was ok and was not her fault,i appreciated her help and felt the other two girls were extremely rude for no reason. I am just doing my job and want to make sure chicken shacks customers are taken care of.my normal experience is almost always pleasant and the workers are normally awesome.I'm shocked to have this even happen. I feel management should be aware of these incidents to help improve...
Read moreSundown Town vibes. Seriously, I wouldn't go anywhere NEAR here if you aren't white, or you're putting yourself in danger. We ate here a bit over a year ago on a road trip and the woman who owned it took our order. My friend and I (both white) ordered, no problem, then my non white friend walked in and the vibe changed. When he asked if they had a paper menu so it would be easier to look through, she demanded to know if he could even READ, by pulling her shirt down and pointing at the text on the front. She ranted that liberal voters prevented her from having paper menus (??) and finally I had to order for my friend.
The food came out quickly, tasted fair, but while eating, a man who looked like an off duty cop was clearly sent to CHECK on us and walked past at a crawl making extremely aggressive eye contact, and we just threw our food out and left, legit frightened.
And then all of us got extremely aggressive food poisoning a few miles down the road.
To this day we talk about how horrible the experience was and I cannot NOT leave a review and put another family at risk. Hopefully under new management, but if not, don't eat here. Not worth your health and safety for decent, but not ground...
Read moreAfter ordering 100 NAKED wings, (no breading, we have to have gluten free) we drove another hour and a half to get to the RV park. When we went to eat, none of the wings were gluten free. We had to throw them all out. When we called to talk to the manager, we were told that the owner would call us back. After 4 days, I called from work. The owner told me that we did not order naked wings, we ordered plain. I told him that, due to my son's gluten issues, we absolutely ordered naked, and the cashier repeated that to the dishwasher. We were then told that the dishwasher was cooking because the regular cook was on break. The owner refused to believe that we did not eat the wings, going as far as to say "you're telling me that you did not eat a single wing? Hmmmm, hard to believe." I will not be called a liar! I am calling the credit card company to have these charges reversed!!!
Edit: After multiple conversations on the phone, leaving multiple poor reviews, and disputing the charges with American Express, the owner decided to refund the $99.99 charges...
