I usually love Dunkin but this particular Dunkin, which is not my normal Dunkin, was awful. I did the drive through and used some Dunkin rewards for a free frozen matcha with oat milk along and purchased a sandwich, a bagel, and a smoothie. I got the matcha first while she finished the rest of the order and noticed it said "1 milk" and then "oat milk". I took a sip and it was the worst drink I've ever had from Dunkin. It tasted like watered down cream with no flavor. I am not sure if it had actual milk in it or not but I can't have any dairy and had a stomach ache after whatever that drink was.
The part that made me give one star is that I told the woman nicely that the drink didn't taste like it normally did and had no flavor. Her response was, "well that's how the new machine told us to make it". She didn't offer to remake it or give me a different drink. She seemed really grumpy and I was too overstimulated by my toddler melting down in the backseat so I drove off without any resolution. And no drink which this mama desperately needed as a pick me up haha.
The more I thought about it as I drove, the more frustrated I felt, mostly because I had wasted my points on a tried and true drink for me that happened to suck when I really had looked forward to it. So I did something I NEVER do and called the corporate customer service to ask for a resolution aka my points back or the ability to get a replacement drink for free (I swear I am not a Karen, and have never called customer service like this ever before 😆). They told me the individual store would have call me back in two days to address it.

I am not the type to take the time to review places online, since I am aware that the probability of a business receiving bad reviews is exponentially higher than good ones. In addition, I will also qualify my anger with the situation by acknowledging that I am pregnant and hormonal - which many may be aware, is NOT the time to mess with a pregnant woman's food. That being said, my husband and a couple friends of mine stopped by on a Sunday morning at 11 am (verified by receipt) and they were out of all but 3 types of unusual flavored bagels. I was told when I was ordering that there WERE, in fact, plain bagels, and they just were not on display. Now, having a very temperamental stomach this entire pregnancy, this news made my morning! We proceed with our order, pay, and wait. 10 minutes into our wait, our friends had received their COOKED sandwiches and were eating them, before I am notified that the drive through gave away the last of the plain bagels. I am clearly not happy at this point, but I simply requested for a refund for my bagel. They obliged and refunded in cash to my husband. THEN, another 5 minutes passes before they approach my husband, who's sandwich is ALSO to be on a bagel and had requested plain, to ask him to pick another flavor - which he had not problem doing. If my coffee is not right I will obviously have it remade. I went to get my coffee remade a day after buying it because I didn’t have time to go back the same day, the manager (black lady, heavy set) said that I can’t do that because you have to get it remade within the hour. This was interesting seeing how I have done so in the past of it was wrong. She refused to remake my coffee so I just ended up ordering another. And now today, I got a coffee and the guy that made it made it clearly did not follow what I wanted in it. Within 5 minutes after receiving my order I went back and The manager comes to the window saying I get my coffee remade too many times (when this is her second time seeing me) and she again refused to remake my coffee, she told the guy that originally made it to not remake my coffee. Not only did she not keep her word of saying you have to get the coffee remade within the hour, but she is extremely rude and had absolutely no customer service skills. She then went on to argue with me, saying “from now on you’re going to order you’re coffee black and put the things you want in it on the side so you can put it in yourself.” No, I don’t come to a coffee shop to make my own coffee and I’m not letting someone tell me how I’m going to order my coffee. So she ended up giving me my money back and slammed the drive thru window shut.
