Buddy's Bar-B-Q — Restaurant in Knoxville

The worst experience ever!!! My wife and I just moved here and we don't have Internet yet and live rite at this buddy's. We use there Internet and eat there all the time. Every day we eat there and sit outside and use the Internet while we eat. Today my wife goes to eat and check her email and went inside ordered food had a conversation with everyone who worked there laughing and having a great time but as she went outside and was eating she noticed 2 undercover cops go in to eat. She didn't think about it at all. She was filling out an application online and the cops came out with the same manager she had just been laughing with and the cops said there had been complaints about her sitting there. She was shocked and it really hurt her feelings cause they asked her to leave. Of course we understand the reason of it and with theft these days you can't be to carefull but why call the police and not just say hey can you all not hang out as much. That would be fine but to have police come to your car with the manager and other people watching was very embarrassing for her. She cried so much because it hurt her feelings. I placed a rather large order on Buddy's website. There are 7 in my family and I wanted to go ahead and place the order so they would have plenty of time to get the food ready and I would not be holding anyone else up when I went to get my food. I placed my order at 7:15, and within 10 minutes, it was canceled. So, I went back on the website and placed the order once again. This time, it was canceled within one minute. The Chapman Hwy location doesn't close til 9:30. So, I drove to the location and placed the rather large order. ($60 worth) They took my order and were making comments, statements, and criminal side-eyeing me while I waited for my food. I just don't understand why the order was canceled when all I was trying to do was "prepare" them for a large order, so that I would NOT hold up the rest of the customers. All in all, I got my family's food, a couple side orders were wrong but it was excellent food. If they don't want to prepare food for the public then they need to find a job where they do not cook for the public. All you can eat ribs!!!! (Until they run out during the dinner rush). Super tasty! I had 3 sets of 5 ribs and 2 sides for less than $15! 🤯 Not sure if this is only on Saturdays.

Food/Drink quality for price: amazing! Get there before dinner rush and you can eat ribs to your heart's content. "If you leave hungry, that's on you." they said.

Atmosphere: very friendly! A regular who was watching the game helped us navigate how to ask for more ribs. There's a side window near the bathrooms that you use to ask. No need to bring your plate.

Noise level: not bad and tv wasn't too loud either.

Lighting: like an old diner, but with a TV to watch March madness!

Staff: super friendly! "You gonna get the all you can eat ribs? Yeah you are..." Haha they were working hard and poking fun with the customers at the front.

Cleanliness: pretty clean!

Seating: mostly booths with several tables in middle, booth cushions aren't as comfy as they look, but fine

Outlets: There's one at the back at the base of a pillar that works

Car parking: tons

Bike parking: none, use metal...
