We came in after a game so they were busy but seemed to have everything pretty under control. The two servers were nice but spacey, the food we got was decent. We ordered a salad, two calzones, and waters, our total was $51. We ordered creamy Italian, balsamic and blue cheese to go with our salad, we're saucy folks and this was our first time here. We got ranch, blue cheese, and balsamic when the salad finally arrived, all were delicious I will add. We also kept our dressings at the table when the server took our salad plate. When we placed our calzone order, we each ordered a cup of ranch along with marinara. When the bill came we had been charged for the extra ranch but never received it. Not sure if it was the owner or manager who came to our table, older lady with long black hair and a very abrasive demeanor, we asked for a box, a lid for my marinara, and the ranch that we had paid for but didn't get. This woman picks up our empty ranch cup from our salad, that we had kept at the table and says well what is this?! We were appalled, and had to explain that it was the ranch from our salad. My boyfriend asked for extra marinara to take home, she made sure to ask if we had been charged for that and we certainly didn't care to pay but the way she acted as a person working in the public was ridiculous. She didn't bring my marinara lid and when I asked for it she quickly interrupted me with I'm getting your lid, I'm getting your lid, I'm getting your lid! As stated the food was okay and the two servers were nice but whomever the long black haired lady is should not be allowed anywhere near the public. Definitely will not...
Read moreIf I could give this place a negative rating I would. My mom & friends had come down to help me move in. We wanted to go to a nice place to eat. So we chose here. We walk in & it’s packed. There were four of us, so we sat in the two people booths away from each other. We saw a four person booth so when the guy came over to ask what we wanted to drink, we asked if we could move to the four person booth so all of us could sit together. I also have a service dog so it’s easier to sit in a booth where she will not be in the way of people trying to walk & serve. As my mom asked in a nice respectful way, the guy huffed & puffed & turned around & chucked his pen across the restaurant towards the back wall. Then I told her we were leaving. She apologized to the guy for upsetting him & he basically shoulder checked her walking past her. She was so upset & was in tears because she doesn’t like to upset people. The guy was shorter & had sandy blonde swooped hair. I am not happy. It was so rude & disrespectful & I will never support this business again. I don’t recommend this place. Not sure how some people get jobs if they cannot respect their customers who are nothing but nice to them.
Wont let me add a comment or review so I’m editing. Apparently I’m lying now to the owner?? So you argue & call your customers liars now? What a business lol, maybe you should focus on protecting your business & stop protecting your pen throwing employee. Pathetic.
PS - there’s another review about him throwing a pen too, so make sure you comment that that’s...
Read moreA truly mixed experience, which is perhaps the most disappointing kind. The pizza itself is serviceable—a solid three stars on its own merit. It's what you hope for in a neighborhood spot: decent crust, adequate toppings, nothing to write home about, but certainly not bad.
However, my meal was followed by a significant bout of foodborne illness, which is an immediate red flag for any kitchen. I'm talking BOTH ends; a slice of cheese pizza at lunchtime was all I ate Saturday. It is Thursday, and I'm just now recovered enough to write this.
The truly bizarre and alarming part of this experience came later. Having realized I'd misplaced my debit card, I returned to retrace my steps. I politely asked the cashier if a card had been turned in. With no luck there, I checked the restroom. Finally, I stopped at a booth to thoroughly check my bag and was in the process of packing my backpack when the owner approached me and, with inexplicable hostility, threatened to call the police. The reaction was so wildly disproportionate it was stunning. To be absolutely clear: I was a paying customer who had calmly and quietly returned to look for my own lost property. For this, I was treated like a criminal.
While the pizza might be acceptable, the experience was anything but. The risk of foodborne illness is a serious gamble, and being threatened by an inexplicably aggressive owner for simply looking for a lost card is beyond unacceptable. There are other places to get a decent slice without risking your health or...
