Lennys Grill & Subs — Restaurant in Knoxville

First of all I used to love Lenny’s subs they were something different from everything else and always fresh and good but the last time I went in was just a nightmare. They changed good things I loved on the menu like the A1 Philly steak why I have no idea? But my main reason for this review today is I ordered my order online because I was working and with the recent events thought this would be so much quicker but ultimately it was not. The online order had me ordering from the Lenny’s down the road from me which happened to be this one on Lovell rd but it ended up somehow being ordered at the one off of cedar bluff which was just too far for me to drive during my lunch hour and not only that it was closed when I ordered this but somehow still charged me?!? The workers at this Lenny’s wouldn’t even help me out basically just shrugged and said idk so because I only had limited time I ordered inside the store and being charged TWICE for 1 order with no help or resolution to get reimbursed my money from the workers is unacceptable when you could have made this right in a matter of minutes but instead I had to go around in circles calling different Lenny’s subs and talking to different people and in the end never receiving an apology or a refund, I even contacted the corporate center to no avail and no help whatsoever. Lenny's Lovell Road is an experience. You walk into the door and your nose gets asulted by all these wonderful smells; baked bread, warm cookies, Bacon and grilled meats. You then always get greeted by the employees. Ordering here is super easy. What come on the sandwiches or salads is printed next to it on the menu. There is a list of ingredients that you can add right at the register. Plus the employees taking your order will walk you through it. After you pay you relax in the dining area and listen to the music they have playing or watch one of the two TVs they have going. The bathrooms are clean and everything is stocked. Once they call your name and you get your food the real fun starts. Everything is good and perfectly customized just the way you want it. Sammich, chips, cookie cold drink and nothing else matters. An employee will probably come check on you at some point and say hi. They remember your face and try to make everyone happy. By the time you leave you feel like family and think its strange that your leftovers get wrapped up and bagged. instead of put into Tupperware. This is an experience everyone should have. 2 thumbs up....

I always loved Lenny’s subs ! But last night really showed a character of kindness. When I got there after DoorDash, I thought it was 830 lol and the guy said they’re closed I’m like how could you be closed? You got 30 more minutes because we we closed a little early we cleaned the slicing machine I’m like I came here craving for us so I don’t want anybody else else’s.! And he kept saying he’s sorry he said, but I can make you a hot sub I said thank you but I really engraving in a cold one lol! Long story short he said what we have some Italian meat we kept out to make an Italian sub I said yes that’s actually very perfect! And so he let me in and made the sub and it was the best!! But with that being said, I had to apologize I told him I didn’t even realize it was 9 o’clock, cause it was still bright out! But they both were the nicest gentleman ever! Hi Five, the both of them!
