(5 star - New Dec 2023 review) It took a few years for this place's quality to pick up, but its great again! All of the issues that I had before (see reciew below) have been addressed.
(2 Star - Old review from 2019 COVID era) 1st and foremost, the quality of the pizza and other food items here is great. I just have one glaring issue that has popped up since COVID became a thing a few months back. There are hardly any staff members there, and they tend not to have their priorities straight. For example, I order online most of the time hours ahead of time so that I can save time because I can just pick it up. However, it hasn't been like that as of recently. instead my current experience is as follows. I Order online 2-3 hours ahead of time, then I go pick it up only to see that it's not ready yet. I am fine with that because I see that they are understaffed. But then there is usually this line of people ordering stuff when this happens, and they get their order before mine is even ready. So I stand in line and tell the cashier that I am here to pickup my online order from 2-3 hours ago, and usually they START making it AFTER I mention it. With this said, they've ignored my order until I came to the store, so people that did not order as I have still got theirs far before I did, but I had to wait around 30-45 minutes because they didn't prioritize me a customer as they should've. I'll stay away from here for a few months to see if...
Read moreNever in my life have I experienced a business more unwilling to take my money and accept my patronage than this Little Caeser's. I have been turned away three times between July 3rd and July 28th because they were closing early or only accepting online orders.
Of course, the online ordering never seems to be available from the app. Additionally, they don't answer their phone after reasonable wait times, and they were closed on at least one Sunday (if not all) which seems counter-intuitive to running a pizza business.
I understand that the pandemic has greatly reduced willing applicants, and some reviews say this location is short-staffed. The staff that's there is probably working their tails off to meet the demands. But three turn aways in a month is just ridiculous. Is the franchisee this uninvolved and unaware? Do you have a management company that's slacking off and mismanaging your business?
If hiring is the problem, here's some free advice: hire a 3rd party recruitment consultant, start a hiring drive, list with temp labor agencies, and get your staff to reach out to everyone they know. Just DO something, and get it together.
I know that if I was unable to order food three times in one month, then there must be others that have had similar experiences. The good news is that there are many alternatives, all densely packed down Chapman Highway. I'm going to explore those options instead, and...
Read moreI normally get pizza from the Seymour location that's always good quality & ready when they say it will be. I was at Walmart Monday night, Feb. 7, 2022 & decided to use this location as more convenient. I called ahead for a Bestest Pepperoni Pizza to carry out. When I arrived at 8:45pm (Order 1015298) to pick it up, at the time they told me it would be ready, they had not even sent my order to the kitchen. I had to wait while they cooked it. When I arrived home to enjoy it, the crust only had a ridge ½ way around & there was less pepperoni than a regular pepperoni pizza & I paid for Bestest Pepperoni. It wasn't because they were busy, because one kitchen employee was asleep in the corner while I was standing there waiting on my pizza that I had called in. This was the sorriest pizza I've ever paid for, not the usual great quality of Little Ceasars. I won't patron this particular location again! They need to have a training session w/the Seymour location & let them show these employees at the South Knoxville location how it's done to...
