Pizza Hut — Restaurant in Knoxville

Edit: in case anyone was wondering, I did reach out to Pizza Hut per their reply to this review, and heard nothing. Obviously they don't care about how incompetently this location is being run.

TERRIBLE! Ordered online, curbside pickup (I had a toddler with me, otherwise I would've picked up inside myself). Order pickup set for 6:05. I got there just after 6:05 and checked in through the email. 10 minutes later, I called and asked about the order and made sure they knew I was there and what car I was in. They said they were busy and my order was still in the oven but they'd bring it out once it was done. 25-ish minutes later I called again, they again confirmed my car and where I was parked and said it would be right out. At 7:05, a FULL HOUR after the set pickup time, I called again and they said it was in the heat box. I asked if they could bring it out to me and they asked if I could come inside to pick it up. I said no, I've been waiting for an hour and I have a screaming toddler in the backseat I can't leave in the car or carry while carrying the pizza. I asked to speak to the manager and was told she was too busy to speak with me. I asked them to have her bring my order out and they said okay then hung up. Someone (not the manager) came out a minute or two later with my order. I asked to speak with the manager and they said she was too busy "dealing with lost pizzas" and refused to come talk to me. I asked how long the order had been ready and they said they didn't know, but they tried to bring the order out to me earlier and the manager told them not to bring my order to me because they were too busy. Worst of all, the order was COLD. They made me wait for over an hour, refused to let me speak to the manager, just to give me cold food. No apology from the manager of any kind. By far the worst pizza hut ever. Food was over cooked, the wings had hardly any sauce and was so hard I broke my tooth biting it. Left out 2 of the extra sauces. When I called the store and asked for a manager the girl that answered yells out I need a Manger I guess I'm not good enough. When the manager Mary gets the phone she was extremely rude and unprofessional. She wanted to argue that she knew for a fact that the sauces were in there when that food left the store. And that it's impossible to over cook the wings because they were on a timer. Well that might be true but if the cook doesn't pull them when the timer goes off then you're going to have overcooked wings. I understand the sauces were a total of a $1.50 but in total I spent $41 and have food that have of it can't be eaten. When you're on a budget and you only splurge once a month you kinda want it to be good. I have never in my life dealt with...

You'd get more service if you actually delivered!!

"The Hut" is 99% the preferred choice, but we still don't get it... We would order sooo much more from them if they actually delivered. 😒 We live only 4.4 miles away (a 6 min drive) in an established subdivision with LOTS of houses. It is a little ridiculous that EVERY other delivery place around us offers a delivery radius of up to (or great than) 5 miles from the store. We end up settling for a different option from what we actually want simply because others are willing to deliver within a realistic radius. After working in the hospital ALL day I simply do not want to drive out of my way to get it. I know it's only 4.4 miles, but I shouldn't have to simply because of their lack of services to an immediate area. Pizza Hut's other locations in areas where we used to live would go MUCH further distances (8+ miles away) but I guess south Knox can't...
