i dont even know where to begin with this place. i had attempted to work here months ago and I quit after 4 days of work due to the workers on night shift doing drugs and getting drunk in their vehicles while telling customers that they are closed either for the night or "for the next 15 minutes" which, is COMPLETELY AGAINST mcdonalds policy. Tonight I was the customer. Their lobby is open until midnight they then only take orders via drive thru (which is totally fine with me!) but i pulled up at ELEVEN tonight, just 50 minutes ago, and all I wanted was two drinks because I had a coupon and I was thirsty. The drink machines at drive thru are automatic. they dispense drink and ice themselves unless you get tea. it is literally a 15 second process to grab the cup, straw and lid and hand it out the window. I pull up to the drive thru menu and I hear the worker take a breath and i immediately knew something was up (most of the time you can tell they get nervous about saying something other than "welcome to mcdonalds what can i get for you", they begin to tell me they are closed due to being understaffed. Now before i continue keep in mind, i went to kroger across the street at 1030 and watched cars get handed food and drinks out the window. I began to say "Well thats funny because I have worked here and I know that you are never allowed to close unless for maintenance or updates and they must put a sign up and i know that you used to tell other customers this too" the employee began raising their voice at me yelling about how they are understaffed blah blah blah and i just drove away because at this point im livid. so we drive across town to another mcdonalds only to find out they were actually down for maintenance. so we go back to the other side of town to the alto road mcdonalds and get our stuff and proceed to head home. well our path home includes driving past lincoln mcdonalds again, we drive by AND SURE ENOUGH, there are 2 cars in the drive thru getting their food and one placing an order. The whole time there was at LEAST 2 workers inside the mcdonalds. I worked there in June and this is still occuring. I told the manager when i worked there that they were doing this and clearly its not been handled. i do not ever take time to complain about fast food service because ive been there. ive worked customer service for 6 years and i understand sometimes you have to wait a little longer and that things get a little messed up but this is conpletely unacceptable. The owners of this mcdonalds, the general manager and corporate mcdonalds will all be hearing from me in the a.m because this is ridiculous. And on top of all that, everytime my fiance and I have gone to dine in and a shift manager named May May (thats what they called her) is working we have seen disgusting behavior. Literally the most rude and disrespectful employee ive ever seen. Never a smile. The most rude and disgusted tone in her voice. Everytime we have dined in and she was there she was literally SCREAMING at the employees, i watched an employee bawl her eyes out after being screamed at by her for something that was totally out of the young employees control. Employees on night shift are almost always outside when i drive by (i live like 2 blocks away and go to the kroger a LOT). I can get over my food being wrong which i have only had that issue maybe twice in the last few months and its never been anything major. But all of this is so beyond unprofessional that I cannot even begin to understand how this building is still open. Management doesnt care about employee issues, takes nothing seriously, employees dont care and have extremely negative attitudes and then all of my main post is the worst. I understand working here you make minimum wage and that that sucks but regardless of what your job is you smile, you act professional, and you follow the rules. This business does NONE of that. This needs fixed. I want something done about this...
Read moreIt is very rare for me to leave a review and I typically donât have a problem with this McDonaldâs as of late. I have felt that the service has definitely been better over the last 3 to 6 months. However, today I go to the drive-through with no issues and decide to drive off without checking my bag because I havenât had any issues for a while. Every time I get breakfast there I order a cup of hot mustard and I am charged for the cup of hot mustard. I did not figured today would be any different seeing as it was the same employee that gives me my breakfast every time I go lately. I drove off to realize that I did not have my hot mustard. My issue here is there zero ways of getting missed items or items fixed because they donât allow anyone into their dining area. I call and it took A while for anyone to answer the phone. I let them know that I missing my hot mustard and if there is a door I can come to that they could bring it to me. I was then told to pull up to the third window and they would bring it out to me. I sat at the third window for more than eight minutes just to have to back up in hopes that nobody would pull forward so I could go to the window and ask for my hot mustard. Also that whole time Iâm sitting at the third window I was calling and nobody ever answered the phone, I tried four times and let it ring all the way until it cut me off. Ugh! They really need to get a better process in place when they are missing items and or mess up an item. Also, nowhere on the doors or on Google or anywhere does it say that their lobby is closed. It has been closed for a very long time, just put it out there on their Google listing and put it on the doors that...
Read moreCame through the drive thru with my friend at around midnight. Sat waiting to be acknowledged for at least a couple minutes before I even got to order. Then when I got a rude "go head" it took the guy several times to finally get down my very advanced large sprite and one large Coke order. Then when we finally got moved to the pay window the angry overweight woman taking the money was the rudest individual I'd ever met. Apparently she couldn't hear any of the order that we had just placed with the guy and asked to take our order again. She then proceeded to rudely interrupt after ever word I spoke and her and throw her swollen hands up after every question I asked. I tried to tell her my order three times and everytime she repeated back the wrong order. Mind you the order was (1) Coke and (1) Sprite. It wasn't long until we felt so uncomfortable with allowing this high school drop out to handle our money. Eventually I just accepted that she was not intellectually capable of understanding a two drink order so I asked for my card back and said we'd go somewhere else. She rolled her eyes and basically threw the card back to me. A suggestion would be not make customers feel bad for ordering food...at a restaurant. I understand the woman in her 30s may have been upset she was still making minimum wage, but you can't work anywhere with a horrible attitude. I'll never eat at this location again. 0...
