It was packed going through the window so I went inside to order. The guy at the cash register was nice. I got my receipt and waited for my order. After about ten minutes, they came and asked a few people for their recipes. They asked for mine and I really didn't know why. I ask some other customers and they told me that a machine broke down and they had to resubmit our orders to the order pickers. I was understanding and said that's okay. After everyone got their order that was waiting just before me, I noticed people were getting their orders and gone. The people dining in were adding things to their orders and got it soon. I waited for about eight more minutes and no one was left in line or waiting for their orders inside. I started standing there waving my order number around. It took a few minutes and someone finally recognized I was standing there with my receipt with no one else waiting. I was asked if they could see my receipt again. They looked it over talked among themselves and immediately started my order. It took them maybe three minutes to get it. I seen they were about to finish my chicken and I wanted to test their customer courtesy. So I asked someone at the counter if they would put one extra chicken leg for customer courtesy for forgetting me for so long. A young girl kind of snapped at me and said, " We didn't forget you, our machine had a problem." I know that was wrong because that why they got my receipt about 15 or 20 minutes earlier. So, I just thought that that girl that said I was mistaken and I knew I wasn't, she must have been very new at the business. I have done that work before and no way a customer would get dismissed for a bogus reason. Needless to say, I didn't get that chicken leg extra. But that was only a test anyway. I went to McDonalds once and they gave me an entire second meal identical to my order. Many places have made it right if they inconvenienced me. Popeyes lacks customer courtesy. Read moreWent through during grand opening and service was as expected even friendlier than expected. Went again on Saturday March 19th and this was a horrible experience. I placed a mobile curbside order from the official website. I arrive, park, and check in. I waited nearly an hour and still had no food. I attempted to go inside to pick up my order but the dining room was overflowing. I went back out and circled through the drive thru. When they asked for my order I explained I'd been waiting quite some time on my mobile order. The answer I received was they "don't do curbside orders". I still had my confirmation pulled up on my phone so I was very confused at this point. I asked if she knew what had happened with my order as I had just paid $65 for food I'm told is not there. She then "found" my order and when she rudely shoved the bag through my open window she again groaned that they don't offer curbside. The receipt she handed me says "curbside mobile order" and even describes my vehicle as to identity me for a curbside order. She slammed the drive thru window as I asked if I was going to get my coke and she never returned. I had to wait there for another employee to notice me and ask what was missing. Rather than say ok and prepare my coke the new face said to me "did you order a coke". Even after this I had to provide my receipt and prove that I had ordered a large coke. Read moreWaited awhile until the line wasn't a two hour wait! I have been wanting to try popeyes for a long time. Noticed the line was getting shorter and sent Jessica to pick us up some dinner. We got the 10 peice chicken meal mild. They were unfortunately out of biscuits and they gave us an extra side because of this. I had looked online about the prices for this store, it said 14 pc. 24.99$ they said their system was not set up yet for the coupons?? Confused but oh well. NOTED WE ORDERED SUNDAY 6:30 PM. The chicken was dry, and the coating on the chicken was very crispy on one part, and no coating on another, seemed to me it had sit around for awhile! The mac and cheese was pretty good, mashed potatoes I would skip. I can't say anything about their other choices, but KFC has our vote. Just wasn't impressed at all.
