I recently dined here and while my experience had some shining moments, the drawbacks were hard to ignore.
Let’s start with the positives: the service was truly exceptional. From the moment I entered, the host greeted me with warmth and made me feel welcome. My server was knowledgeable and enthusiastic, offering great recommendations.
However, the management aspect left much to be desired. During my visit, I noticed several operational issues that detracted from the overall ambiance. For example, the restaurant was quite busy, and while the servers were doing their best, there seemed to be a lack of coordination among the staff. I overheard my server asking for assistance multiple times, but management was noticeably absent, leaving them to handle the ensuing chaos on their own.
Additionally, there were discrepancies in the wait times for food orders. I must say, the wait time for our food was astonishingly long. We arrived eager to enjoy a meal, but after placing our order, we found ourselves waiting for what felt like an eternity— thirty minutes before our appetizers even arrived!
While the server was friendly and did their best to keep us informed, the extended delay was unacceptable. It seemed as though the kitchen was overwhelmed, which really put a damper on the experience. We noticed other tables around us were also waiting far too long for their meals, causing an air of frustration among patrons.
Several tables around me were experiencing delays, and when inquiries were made, the responses from the staff seemed scripted and lacking genuine concern. It became evident that management had not prepared adequately for the crowd, which led to frustration for both guests and staff.
In an age where dining experiences are expected to be efficient, this was a major letdown. I hope the management can address these service issues, as the potential for a great dining experience is there, but not when customers are left waiting indefinitely.
In conclusion, while the individual service was outstanding and made for an enjoyable meal, the shortcomings in management overshadowed the overall experience. I sincerely hope they address these operational issues, as the dedicated staff truly deserves better support to enhance the dining experience for...
Read moreWell, I didn’t want to leave a bad review because I understand they just open, but this isn’t their first rodeo. They have other restaurants around the area and they are doing just fine. Not this one. For starters we tried to reserve a spot but their website wasn’t taking any reservation. Not sure why? Every other Lupe tortilla can. Anyway, we got there and we were told 45-60 minute wait. Se we decided to waited out, only because my wife really wanted to try the new location. Fortunately we only waited about 40 minutes max. Se we thought ok, that wasn’t too bad right? Wrong! We finally got our table and the host was trying to help us with our drinks, but when I tried to order something that wasn’t from the bar, he immediately replied oh you’re going to have to wait for your server. I said ok. We waited another 5 minutes, our waiter finally arrived, she took our drinks order and left. 10 minutes later she came back with our drinks, my wife had ordered a piña colada and our waiter brought it in a regular glass, nothing else, nothing fancy, just a glass half filled with a tasteless piña colada. So we said oh well, let’s order our food. We did, we order some shrimp enchiladas and shrimp quesadilla. It took the kitchen 1 hour plus to get our food!! I’m not even kidding. During this whole time our waiter came to check on us TWICE! That’s it, when we got our food, it wasn’t even hot, she got us the wrong beans, the rice was awful and well, we ate what we could. My wife’s enchiladas were really salty and mine weren’t that good either. I guess if the service doesn’t change quick, this isn’t going to last very long. Oh btw the manager came to our table only after we got our food, she asked if everything was ok while we were chewing our food, we couldn’t even answer, she asked and she left right away. Not even an apology from our waiter or the manager. The place is ok at best. But I will have to make this a last option if we decide to come back...
Read moreWe waited a few weeks to come check the restraunt out, with new places there is always mention everything is amazing. The decor is nice and clean, Nancy greated us when we walked in she was very nice. Our waiter was Deanna I believe she was attentive and great, so nothing with staff. The water taste like it needs to be filtered horrible taste I thought it was me just cause but my husband could not drink it either, there was no bottle water they ran out so just got a sweet tea. I ordered the rg queso it was meh, the beans that come with the chips and salsa were really good. We got the Quaill bacon wrapped didn't taste like bacon or seem to have any wrapped so for 26 bucks was disappointing, my husband had the trio shrimp, chicken, fajita and a side of jalapeño sausage, the shrimp had no flavor just tasted like it was just steamed, the sausage texture felt rubbery, the fajita was actually the only good thing. I ordered the green chicken enchiladas it came with rice and beans. The enchiladas were warm on the outside and the chicken was close to cold as if it was just warmed up, beans were so salty and they should serve the appetizer beans for the sides those were better, I couldn't finish the enchiladas I struggled to, corn tortillas were so thick. I'll just say if you want good fajitas they are good here thats it. If you want really good Mexican food go to Casa Maria's or even Casa Garcias. That's...
