We came to celebrate a family member’s birthday, a large group of 11. Parking was a hassle and took 15minutes to find, it was dinner time so we did expect it to be busy, we were a large party and understood that it may take us a bit longer to be seated which was fine. We signed up and received a txt that it would be a 25minute wait. At 35 minutes (and after noticing everyone behind us seated) I went to check on no our table), there was a woman in front of me also complaining and she was rude about it, so I made it a point to be polite (they were busy and I’m not about giving service people a hard time). The hostess said it would be about 5 to 6minutes and that our table was being cleared. 12 minutes I later (now practically 45minutes since we first walked in) I asked her again, she explained that they were waiting on a table to pay, which meant she had lied earlier when she told me the tables were being cleared or that she gave our table to someone else. Either way I asked her to be honest next time and asked that she not give people the runaround. 8 minutes later we received a txt to get our party ready, which I did, they asked us to wait again. I got a second text with the same message 5minutes later and they finally took us to our table. Over an hour since we arrived.
You’d think it would be over there But our server shaundae, was sarcastic and rude from the beginning. I’m guessing the hostess asked her to give me a hard time and she was all too eager to oblige. She brought out my entree before everyone else’s, and kept watching to see if I was eating it. Which made me so uncomfortable in addition to her attitude that I did not eat. She forgot things I asked for and then when I tried helping her not get confused about our children’s orders since they were not sitting next to their parents and paying separate bills without becoming a mess, was going to require her to get over her mission to give me a hard time pay attention. Sure enough she messed that up too.
We love us a good Texas Roadhouse birthday celebration but. This visit at this Kyle location was disappointing. Drive a few more miles in any direction and avoid these young, immature and...
Read moreI went to the Kyle Texas Roadhouse to celebrate my 66 birthday. The first issue was my wife and I were seated at a booth table. I immediately ask to be seated at an open table due to seat was to close to table. I told the waitress I was celebrating my birthday. We then ordered some drinks and appetizers before ordering main ontray. Waitress then brings our drinks and wants to take our main course order. I said not now we are waiting on our appetizer. Waitress comes back and wants to take main course order again and said our appetizer was at the window soon. So we go ahead and order our steaks. Shortly after that our salads are brought out to us while our appetizer still had not been giving to us. Shortly after that our appetizer are brought out to us. I then tell the waitress to take our salads back since we were just going to start eating our appetizer. Shortly after that our steaks are brought out to us while we were eating our appetizer. I ask waitress to bring our salads back to us. I then check my steak to if cooked as I requested. I requested a medium well ribeye steak. The steak was very rare done. I then asked to put back in the oven for a medium well steak. The waitress return with the steak and I check again and asked the waitress if the steak was a medium well cooked steak she said no. I then told her return my steak and just cook my steak well done. My steak was finally returned after a long wait. By this time I was very unhappy and ask waitress for some to go containers and paid my $107.00 bill. Seems like I was being rushed to order my main course. Made feel like I was at a fast food restaurant. Will not return to...

I don’t even know where to begin, but let’s just say if culinary crimes were punishable by law, this place would be doing life without parole.
First off, walking up to the take out window felt like stepping into a forgotten storage closet with delusions of being a restaurant. The vibe? Dead. The smell? Questionable at best, disturbing at worst. Like expired fryer oil and broken dreams.
My husband ordered our family over a $100 worth of this trash, which I assumed came with seasoning, dignity, and maybe an ounce of love. WRONG. What I ordered looked like it had been assembled during a power outage by someone who lost a bet. The texture was… gelatinous? Rubbery? Ribs half cooked when it was requested to be well done..shrimp cold as well. I don’t even know what to say about the other food 🙄 just soggy & dry. Where is Ashton Kutcher?? This has to be some kind of hidden rare talent they picked up.
Imagine licking a battery after eating cardboard. And then paying $20 for the privilege.
The troll that took the order looked like she wanted to be anywhere but there, and honestly I don't blame her if I was uneducated & had to work somewhere with poor customer service too & horrible food.
I wouldn’t wish this experience on my worst enemy. Not to mention WE WAITED A WHOLE HOUR! Didn't receive a text message letting us know the food was ready. JUST A MESS!!!
If you’re thinking about trying this place , don’t! Eat a cracker. Chew air. Lick a rock. Anything is...
