Crumbl — Restaurant in Onalaska

I love crumbl cookies and have had great experiences in MN. I was extremely excited for their delicious cookies to be here in La crosse.

Only giving this location 2 stars for two reasons.

One, customer service. Basic customer service of saying hello to everyone who walks in would be appreciated. There were multiple eyes that looked at me but no one communicated they would be right there to help. Also, when I asked for a full refund back, one staff member said it to another person and she/they noted it down but it would have been nice to know that it would be taken care of and I didn’t need to wait around.

Two, I had a pick up order. Upsets me that I preordered cookies beforehand however when I arrived the worker informed me that two of the 6 I ordered were sold out. I understand there’s a high demand, however why give the option to preorder ahead of time if there’s no guarantee that you’ll be getting the cookies you ORDERED AND PAID for ahead of time. Perhaps the website online needs a note indicating this so you don’t have upset costumers. Being notified ahead of time that my order was sold out would’ve been...

Okay, for starters, I hate leaving bad reviews. I REALLY do. But every time I have come to this Crumbl it has been a negative experience. I have ordered online twice, both times I have shown up and not only has my order not been ready -- it is as though I never made it at all and still wound up waiting. Which would be fine, I get it, things happen and places are busy, but you do not even get priority for putting an order in first. I waited behind groups of people and some people showed up MUCH later than me and got their order before I even got attended to. They didn't even let me know for a loooong time that they were out of a bunch of what I ordered. And you can't call them, it never goes through! All in all, I understand that they were unprepared and that the Crumbl hasn't been open very long, but plenty of places open fresh and are ran properly. I don't know who to blame this on -- Bad management? Its a shame, I really want this place to do well. Three stars because the cookies...

Last time we got here as the store opened and we were told we couldn’t get the cookies we wanted because there were so many preorders. We preordered cookies to hopefully help the experience so they had available cookies for us, but after waiting we’re told walk in’s are priority over prepaid online orders. When we arrived we were told they couldn’t do anything after 30 minutes of standing there and not being helped by the 10+ people on staff. It’s ridiculous that you pay for something thinking that you’ll get what you want and instead they don’t even have what you already paid for. It’s a Monday morning and they have 3 available cookies, we preordered the night before for pickup at 9:30 and was “the first in line” however that was not the case.
