I have frequented Panda Express all across the United States and really only have had one bad experience (hereâs looking at you Eau Claire) and to say I was pleasantly surprised with the location that just opened outside Valley View is an understatement. They were crazy busy and still nailed it. Food was ready when they said it would be and it was spot on flavor-wise. They also actually included all the sauces I requested (again, thanks Eau Claire (thatâs called sarcasm).
I will be going back again today and as much as I can in the foreseeable future until I get sick of it.
Second Visit: So I went back this past weekend and they were even more busy but unfortunately there was some issues. No white rice, no fried rice, and the steamed vegetables were barely steamed if at all. Do not compromise quality no matter what. Flavor for my Kung Pao Chicken and Teriyaki Chicken were still on point, but whoever is managing needs to evolve and improve. This is a cash cow for the company and bonuses for management, so you need to...
Read moreI've been waiting for this place to finally open for a while now and I just happened to drive by Fri opening night and decided to try it out. It was packed with the drive through line out into into the road.
I've had Panda Express many times before living in MN so I knew what to expect. It was definitely Chineese fast food but I thought the Service was really good for it being so busy.
I got the larger plate with three entrees and fried rice. I thought the food was lacking compared to what I remembered. Mostly just over sauced and bland to me. The fried rice wasn't good, bland with hard vegetables in it. The orange chicken, not good either along with the beef broccoli dish. The shrimp entree was rubbery. I'm hoping the quality of the food was only like this because they just opened and were really busy. The area really needed a Chinese fast food place. I'll definitely try it again I ...
Read moreOh Panda Express⌠Well, theyâve come back to La Crosse and the food did not at all live up to the nostalgia. Granted, I havenât had them in like fifteen years since I lived in Las Vegas, but I do remember the dishes being good back then.
I ordered a medium Crispy Sesame Shrimp & Beef, medium Chow Mein, and a large 12 piece Cream Cheese Rangoons. The crispy shrimp and beef wasnât too bad, in fact I was actually impressed with the spice and all the stir fried peppers included in the dish. I enjoyed that, but the chow mein was exceptionally dry and the cream cheese wontons had little to no flavor. That was disappointing. I also would have gotten the fried rice, but it wasnât an option when I put in the order.
I am willing to give it another go as they did just open, but my expectations are...
