I hate to make this two stars because the pizza was amazing BUT the service we received was absolutely awful. It will be shorter for me to make a list on what happened: 1.Our waitress was unhappy and seemed like she didn't care. It took 30 min to get our drinks, then another 30 before she took our order without offering to get us more drinks (not even more water). she checked on and served the table next to us 3 times with drinks, not once checking on us after we were trying to get her attention. after another 50 mins, she brought us two pizzas none of which were ours and left one of them on our table. we overheard her telling the table next to us how the kitchen forgot one of their pizzas only for US to realize it was the one she left at our table. once we informed her of this she didn't apologize to anyone and still proceeded to give this pizza to the other table after it sat at ours for 10 min. (unsanitary). We told her we were missing two pizzas and without asking what they were she just walked away. only to come back 5 min later and ask. again without apologizing. we had to grab our own silverware and napkins since we never got assistance. we had to mention twice that we needed water again, only to get one small pitcher for 6 of us. The sad part is all 6 of us have been servers before, so we know what its like if you are short staffed or busy. but multiple times she went to other tables to help and then there were two other servers setting tables instead of helping our girl with her tables. There was really no excuse for the awful service we got last night. I would like to return because the pizza was so good but not until the service gets better training or something. I hope management does something about this. I'm sure the table that was given the pizza she left at ours wasn't too...

So our visit took place on a Wednesday at 5 pm. No wait, was directed to a 2 top by an Indifferent male host. After 15 minutes a male sever came by and took our order, we gave our order all to him, Apps, salad and three pizzas since we definitely had time to choose. If you look at our reviews we eat all over the U.S. This would be one of the top 5 WORST experiences . So our waiter seemed very overwhelmed with his 3 other tables. Got our sodas after another 10 minutes, waited another 15 minutes and much to our surprise our waiter brought our salads and pizza's. He stated (like a deer in the headlights) stated (OH I am sorry). Heres your food and left, Now the food. horrible salad ,wedge of romaine warm and limp, with a spray of anchovy mayo, Gross, to many fine Italian restaurants under our belts to consider this Caesar. But the best part of the whole meal was the shredded cheese. Now what they call pizza sauce, advertise crushed tomatoes as a sauce. Must have brushed a hint of red on 2 of the pizza's. By the way they were not hot either . Should be a law against allowing them to call it a pie. Crust more of a tortilla that was not even fully cut. Tried it all and , begged to get our check, no questions from our waiter about the food being barely eaten. Don't waste your money, people are excited about this place, must be family. Since we heard two other tables complain...

This is a tough review to write given my love for this style of pizza, and maybe we just caught them on a rough night, but there were several issues that we ran into here with little-to-no attempt to ameliorate their errors.

We came in on a seemingly busy Saturday evening (7:10 PM). We asked for a table for 5, and they put us on a waiting list, as we gave them our number. So we walked over and had a drink next door due to the bar being full (with kids). We were told 35 minutes, but we understand those estimates are not perfect. After an hour with no call, we walked over to inquire. It was half empty as they forgot to call us.

When we were given our table, it seemed like no server wanted to take us (close at 9PM, we sat at 8:20PM). It took at least 10 minutes for someone to finally pop over. We ordered several pizzas and focaccia bread (the latter was just hard toasted bread, was expecting a more fresh foccacia). One of our pizzas was forgotten, and we had to wait for that to be made after all the other ones were out. No effort was made to make us feel better about any of this (comp, discount, etc...)

Ultimately, the food was amazing. The service ledt much to be desired. Again, it could have been a bad night. Maybe insufficient training. But overall, it will be hard to want to...

I recently went here for my partner’s birthday. We were really excited to try some good local pie and we were not disappointed. Each of us ordered a different pizza and shared amongst ourselves. We probably could have and SHOULD have just ordered two, but we know better for next time. The crust had the perfect chew and char. Also, the strawberry basil mojito was so refreshing! The reason I cannot give Uno Venti five stars is because we ordered the charcuterie board as a starter and it was rather lacking. It wasn’t that the items served were bad, well, the cured meat wasn’t great except the pancetta, but could of had more for the price - more strawberries or fruit, something pickled and utensils, so it was easier for us to smear and spread the cheese and jam on those delicious homemade crackers. Overall, service was really good. Our waiter was shy, but attentive. Tables were a bit small, BUT! We look forward to coming back, trying a different pie, and hopefully save enough room for dessert! Because that pistachio ice cream looked DELICIOUS.

This place was recommended to us by a local shop owner when we asked about good pizza. He was correct! This was REALLY great wood fired pizza! Great variety, great toppings, great prices. Everything had really good flavor! The press were bigger then expected, also. Service was really great as our server (Neve sp?) made sure we had everything we needed and kept our beverages filled. She was friendly and attentive. The addition of fresh grated parmesan on the side was a great touch. You must try the Toasted Pistachio Ice Cream... We can't wait to come back and try some other pizzas!

We discovered this place while strolling through downtown La Crosse. It was an impromptu decision to try this place out as my husband is an Italian at heart. This place screams "AUTHENTIC ITALIAN PIZZAS ". Stone fired thin crust pizzas just the way they do it in Italy and seriously we couldn't have asked for more. Tried their both white & red base Sausage & Candied Cipollini and Carbonara pizza. PERFECT! We ordered Toasted Pistachios Ice cream for dessert and loved it. We are going to be a regular here that is for sure. Excellent service as well.
