Well, things just haven't been great for McDonald's these last few years and my last experience will likely be... my last.
Drive thru order, pulled into line around 7:35pm, maybe a little later. 4th in line at this point. We sit and wait a few minutes and nothing really changed. Eventually the car in the outside lane pulls off and we move up to the box, full well expecting that the other cars would likely go first. We sit there and wait, maybe another few minutes and the place our order, skipping past the other 2 cars in line.... Yeah, nothing happened during those few minutes.
Order placed, cheese burger kids meal only ketchup and onion, extra fries, sprite for the drink, Number 7,large, both cheese burgers plain, sprite for the drink, and an extra large fry. So a small drink, a large drink, 3 cheese burgers with less than regular toppings, 2 large and a small fry.
Pull right up to the window and pay, boom. Pull up and wait behind the car at the window. Looking around, they had 3 cars pulled up waiting on food. We get to the window, get our drinks and get asked to pull up. We sit pulled up for about 10 minutes, thankfully they managed to get all the other people's orders together and out. Finally get our order and instead of checking the bag, we drive on home... Mistakes were made...
Turns out that after my over 15 minute wait I got shorted one of my large fries, mind you that it's now a $4 value of money I will never see again. And to top it all off, the fries we did get were cold and bitter.
So, maybe it was an off night, but they have been having far too many off nights over the last few years. If you are going to make me wait for food, at least get my order right and it be more on the fresh side. McDonald's is asking premium prices for slow service and sub standard food with accuracy of a blind archer.
Management needs to get involved in the training and someone needs to be double checking these orders. There was a time when I remember driving up to the second window and my food was coming out at me before I even stopped the car.

And I must say the most affordable venue anywhere I called. I was honestly very discouraged by many other places when trying to plan my 2 year olds birthday party this year—it’s so sad so many places will charge HUNDREDS of dollars for a toddler’s birthday party. When I spoke with Cassandra, the event manager at this location, she literally took all my stress and worries away! Not only did she coordinate our theme (CoCoMelon) with all the decorations, they had our entire party ready AND they cleaned it all up for us, too! Each child was given their own happy meal and ice cream—and since we didn’t use each of the meals included for little ones, they offered to let some adults eat a free meal, too! Our package also included a birthday cake, AND a special gift they went shopping for our pick out themselves for our birthday girl! Her first went along with her party theme, and she ABSOLUTELY loved it! They absolutely went above and beyond any expectations we had in mind, and our babies had a blast! We had a party hostess who loved the babies, took our meal orders, and served us—we never had to leave the party or the play area to stand in line! I was there yesterday and as soon as I walked in the 1st door I had a terrible fall due to the floor having a great deal of water on the floor. It was so wet it took me several minutes to figure out a way to get up. Went straight to the cashier and asked mgr. She took several minutes bagging orders etc knowing what had happened. The young cashier was more concerned about me. At least he asked me if I was ok. All she did was give a weak apology and asked someone to get a mop. I was really didn't expect to get my order free but after I left I thought wow after all that I paid & 1.50 for my coffee! No one offered me any advice on what to do even after I explained how bad I was hurt. I was almost in tears and left. I called corporate customer service and gave all details after several hours and still hadn't heard from them I called general mgr and again gave him all the details. It's now been almost 24 hours and still haven't heard from anyone. Since I can't put weight on my right leg because injured knee and hip, can hardly use my right arm due to injury to shoulder and neck and having severe pain in all of my body including my back I'm going to have to contact my doctor and see what he wants to do at this point.
