Masry Custom T-shirt — Local services in La Mesa

I decided at the last minute to participate in a march in Washington DC and needed t-shirts made the very same day. I live in East County and literally within less than 2 miles there are SEVERAL t-shirt companies near my home. ALL, and I do mean ALL, either did NOT answer their phones, or had a message asking to leave a message and they would get back to me when they could. I could not wait for this, nor did I have time to drive to each place and take a “chance” to see if they could do what I needed right away. I found a place on the Internet names Masry in the Grossmont Mall located in La Mesa. I called up, a woman (Natalie) answered, truly was helpful, said she could do the t-shirts and asked me to send over my photo; so, she could have it ready for me. I was thinking, “this is incredible.” I arrived and she immediately understood my dilemma over my second shirt. She pulled up ideas for me to look at on her computer. She discussed differences in material for t-shirts, asking me about what I liked and did not like in materials. I explained I wanted a V-neck as a woman I do not like the men’s rounded look. I wanted movement so nothing snug and did not want it to be very thin material. She was also honest that one size and type of t-shirt ran small. What I noticed while we were speaking was, she did not give her opinion on my request, but more so, looking at samples all over the shop she had such an incredible mix of everything to support any type of shirt (personal interest-regardless of what belief and/or race). When it came to creating the second t-shirt, I had a general idea but could not find what I wanted. Not only did she give me options via her laptop, but she also sized the way it would look on the shirt, showed the item with backgrounds, and was able to show me with the colors of shirts I had basically what I have as a final product. Right there, within minutes, each shirt was created. After both shirts were done, she gave me specific instructions on how to wash and dry these items so they would last longer. I ordered 15 custom tshirts from Masry in march 2023. masry was amazing from the beginning! I had a 50 year old book of matches - and they were able to take the image - clean it up for us - and put it onto tshirts for us. We were shocked they could actually do it! My sisters and I went in on multiple occasions to finalize the design, and to decide upon the shirts. With 15 people involved, there were a lot of opinions and various sizes and materials needed! They were so patient with us! And they did not even charge us for all of the time it took them to create the design for us - most places do. Assistant manager is inconsistent, unreliable and forgets our t-shirt design and or fail to follow up. We had a Disney theme idea for a couple shirt and had talked to the manager a few months back. The assistant manager was given the details of the shirt design over the phone a couple days in advance. Assistant manager told us it would be done by Friday. I called in Friday night to see how things were going and that I’m gonna come down. I come down and the process of making the shirt wasn’t even started.
