The Ladies greeted us with smiles and friendliness. We were seated Immediately, and drinks were served pretty quickly, there was a little hiccup to get them but was quickly resolved with respect. The waitress brought bread and salads. The salads were refreshing and the butter was amazing on the warm bread. The dinner finally arrived, unfortunately the ribs were burnt and dry but underneath the bbq sauce a nice tangy flavor but the Chicken was amazing. The fries were good hot and crispy, but they got cold very quickly and lost that good taste. Due to the drink complication early there was a hiccup with the bill but again was resolved with complete respect and the waitress earned a very good tipđ This might not have been my best trip their but 8 out of 10x it's usually pretty good, except for the changes with the blooming onion, haven't been a fan lately, and I used to Love them. But you be the judge, everybody has bad days, it could have just been a casual bad day for themđ: Update: 11/22/22 So I was so not impressed, so we got this King pasta with (which I was told was filet mignon) sirloin and shrimp in like an alfredo sauce. The noodles on top were dry, the sauce was buried underneath, the shrimp was good but the fillet was a sirloin so it was chewy. The broccoli was cold and The blooming onion was nice in color but only one side was done to perfection, the other side was still crunchy. The cost was $21.99 according to the menu for the plates but when we got the check it was $$22.99 had to have that adjusted told us it was an old menu or from another location. I always tip 20%ol or more depending on the waitress and the hospitality, but in this case...The check at the bottom has the prices all worked out in percentages for what you should pay the waitress. The 20% was off by a dollar more. But I do my own calculations. People need to take time and really love what they are doing when it comes to preparing food and customers need to be patient to have good food brought to them. It's not a fast food restaurant, but the cook also needs to know they are not a fast food...
Read moreI wanted to provide some feedback regarding our recent visit to the La Plata Outback. My wife, her family, and I came for lunch, and while the experience had some positive aspects, there were also several issues that we felt needed to be addressed.
When we arrived and waited at the podium, we requested to sit at a table instead of a booth. The host, a young man, initially appeared combative, stating that we couldnât sit at a table, despite the fact that there were at least 12 empty tables available. After some discussion, we were eventually seated at a table as requested. However, we also noticed that the host's appearance was unprofessionalâhis belt was unbuckled, and his pants were almost falling down.
On a positive note, our server was fantastic. She was the only one working during that time, yet she managed to juggle multiple tables with great efficiency. She truly made our experience better. Additionally, the staff members who brought our food and drinks were both professional and kind.
However, midway through our meal, we noticed a manager and some staff staging tables for what we overheard was a party of 55 people. When the party arrived, they were extremely loud and disruptive, which significantly detracted from our dining experience.
Overall, weâve noticed that the customer service at the La Plata Outback has been declining over time, and this visit reinforced that impression. While there were positive elements, such as our serverâs exceptional service, the overall experience left much to be desired.
Thank you for taking the time to read our feedback. We hope to see improvements in the future, as we have always enjoyed...
Read moreWorse experience I've had, long wait for appetizer "blooming onion" that was over done and burnt in places, another long wait for food, that was lukewarm at best when it arrived. Fries were hard and crunched like potato chips. I ordered the Alice chicken entree. The bacon is the thin bacon you find I'm the grocery store that you throw in the microwave. The chicken itself was seasoned well, but did not make up for the left out on the counter and forgot taste overall. My daughter had a burger and fries kids meal that came with the same tough as nails fries. She scoreds through and found some of the few softer ones, soaked them in ketchup, them refused the rest. BTW, French fries are one of her favorite foods. My young son had the pleasure of enjoying some cold mashed potatoes. My wife the only lucky one out of the bunch with her chicken and shrimp pasta that did not have any flaws. Looking back at it I should have complained, but due to the prior experiencee i really didn't want another plate of anything from them. The kicker was at the end of the meal we were given to-go cups. I actually watched my server drop the kids to my wife's cup, pick it up and bring it as if nothing happened. When I asked for a new loss, he asked me what was won't with the one he brought. I called him out on it and he just walked off and brought us a new lid. I always like to leave positive feedback to spotlight good restaurants. But this is more like a psa. We're not the first review I see now that mentioned getting cold food, should have did my research beforehand. Some have had good experiences, but just be mindful of something seems of about your food, you've...
