Never had an issue with this location until this evening.
Let me preface this review by saying that I’ve worked retail and food service and I understand the feeling of being understaffed.
I arrived at the location close to closing and, admittedly, I know that’s not always the best time to get there. I also know that if you’re open until 9pm, then any customer arriving before that time should be serviced. That’s why hours are posted. 5am - 9pm means that no one gets help before 5 or after 9. In between those hours customers expect to receive service.
Anyway, I arrived about 10 minutes to close and sat in the drive through waiting to be helped. Five minutes later no response. I try to go through the doors and they’re locked. I can see the employees inside but no one is acknowledging that I’m standing in the doorway. I go back through the drive through and stop at the window. The employees see me there and still make no attempt to speak to me. It’s now roughly 9pm. That’s when one of the employees finally decide to speak to me at the window.
I let them know that I’ve been waiting for some time to be helped and that’s when I’m told that they actually close at 8:50pm. I asked how that made any sense since the hours are clearly stated and there are no signs explaining any special reason for closing.
I asked why they close early and was told that it’s just the way it is and they are short staffed. I asked the lady for the store number so that I can inquire about the closing hours and I’m told that I can find it for myself. Not very cool response if you ask me.
I go back around to the front of the building to get a picture of the store number and the second employee comes outside to let me know they have already notified their manager about closing early.
Now I respect anyone who owns the issues and this employee understood my frustration. She said she wanted me to contact the manager to let them know to please hire and staff this location.
So here’s my shot at helping them keep the store...

If so, you are hired"! After reading many comments here on Google I see that many people have commented on their rudeness. It must not be an issue for the managers/owners, for clearly they have done nothing about it. Last weekend I came here with my granddaughter. We were greeted with a "what can I get you". My response was "hello, how are you". No response from the young woman. We placed our order and never even received a thank you. Well, today was the last time I will go here. I went in to purchase just a breakfast sandwich. The gentleman put my food in to be heated. While it was heating he proceeded to pick up the mats that were either under the drinks or possibly the ones on the floor. They were not that large so I am going to assume they were possibly drip mats from where they make the drinks. Lets hope so. At any rate, he put them in the sink and then handled my food. I just looked at him. You just had those dirty things in your hands and now you are handling my food. I guess my face must have said it all, because another young man asked if everything was okay. I said "no". I explained what just happened. He did offer to make another. But, I was done. Rudeness and no common sense seem to prevail at this Starbucks. If you want really good coffee, go to Donut Connection. It is less expensive and they are...
Read moreI come to Starbucks at least three times a week on my way to DC and this location typically has bare minimum service there’s no greetings at the window and a lot of times the workers seem like it’s more of an inconvenience for them to be making my Coffee.
I traditionally order my coffee when I’m about eight or 10 miles away so that it gives them enough time to get the coffee ready without holding up the line in the morning. This morning I get to the drive-through pick up line there’s nobody else in the line and the worker named Aiden cuts me off while letting him know that I had a mobile order and tells me that I have to order further in advance if I want my coffee.
First of all if I were to drive up and order on the spot, it wouldn’t change how long it takes my coffee to be made. Secondly, I wasn’t rushing you. I would’ve waited. Most of the time when I get my coffee it’s half creamer half oat milk half whatever other product is in my coffee and very little coffee in the first place there’s been repeated times I’ve had to have it remade. Maybe focus on the quality of your coffee rather than biting your customers heads off first thing in...
