I understand there's a worker shortage.... However the LP location has spiraled down in every way the past 2 yrs. Only 3 people working last night at 7pm. I ordered ckn nuggets meal with mashed potatoes. When ordering I was NOT told there was going to be a wait to have my food cooked. Paid for my food and then I was told to drive around front and wait as they had to cook it. (I'm on my way to work) I patiently waited for 17 minutes for someone to bring my food out as I watched 7 other cars drive through the drive-thru get their food and leave. There were 2 vehicles after me that had to pull into the parking lot and wait as well. I went inside, showed my receipt to the white guy manager (who is doing his best to make me wait even longer as he serves customers that had come after me). They had completely FORGOT all about my order. He was getting ready to give away a huge box of chicken nuggets to another customer. I was polite. I didn't cuss. I just simply wanted to get my food and leave and the white guy manager started talking about something with his father and traveling and delayed me even more. mind you I'm 20 minutes late for work now... I had asked for blackened Ranch dip, of course he didn't pay attention to the receipt and didn't give me that or any type of Spork to eat with. Nuggets were hot and fresh, but the mashed potatoes were cold and barely had any gravy on them, biscuits were hard and cold. There was absolutely no bone-in chicken on any of the heating racks and everything needed to be cleaned as mounds of batter crumbs had been sitting there for hours or days. Very...
Read moreI purchased two chicken sandwich meals. After ordering I realized I forgot to get an extra bun, which I needed. I asked the girl who took my order, Lashawn, if I could please have one extra bun with my sandwiches. She looked at me, extremely annoyed and told me to hold on because she was going to get a manager. I was confused as to why this request needed a manager, but said okay. The manager, Rosia, came up, annoyed expression on her face and I asked for the bun. She told me that each item on the sandwich is an upcharge. I told her that's okay, I will pay for the bun. Then she said she doesn't have a way to charge me for it. I said all right, well is there any way you could charge me for a biscuit or other side and give me a sandwich bun instead? With a blank expression she said no. She said the only way to get another bun would be to buy another sandwich. So let me get this straight, if I wanted just two slices of bread I would have to purchase a whole sandwich? And I'm guessing she would keep the chicken? What an idiotic and unhelpful suggestion. Who blatantly asks a customer to purchase a whole meal with the intention of giving them only half of it. She was also just extremely off putting. No smile, no "I'm sorry". She was not apologetic and clearly annoyed that I needed something at all. I'm honestly shocked someone was unhelpful and rude over a bun. She either hates her job to the point where she is willingly spiteful towards customers, or she is an idiot who doesn't understand...
Read moreI haven't eaten at Popeye's in some time, so it was a bit of a shock when my wife brought the food home and it was not what I had been accustomed to in my previous experience. All of the food was cold, and had obviously been prepared long before it was placed in our bag. The chicken was very small, and had very little meat at all. The potatoes, which used to have enough gravy in the top of the tub for every spoonful of potatoes, had little more than a tablespoon of gravy. The corn wasn't seasoned, and looked as though it had been in some horrible corn-related car accident. It was as if the people at this restaurant attempted to gives us the least amount of food possible, and then charged us over 30 dollars for what would have fed maybe three people. I can go to Whataburger and feed five, with drinks, for less than what I paid for this poor excuse for Popeye's chicken. Needless to say, this restaurant will not again receive...
