Sam's Korean BBQ — Restaurant in La Quinta

First time being here at this location with my family and the food disappointed us all. The occlusion thing that was good was the steak and bulgogi meat. Unfortunately it's not worth eating here and I'm never coming back. We ordered chicken fried rice and it was mostly burnt with too many unknown burnt pieces. No flavor except the burnt smokiness. The steak and shrimp bowl had over cooked salty shrimp, vegetables were inconsistently cooked. The rice was ok but the star of that dish is the steak. It was so soft and a bit salty but still good. I ordered a pork bulgogi that came with rice onions and green onions. I didn't get the pork when I received my food and instead got the beef. I noticed it was swimming in so much oil that I got sick that same night. And to make matters worst was even though I got my food on a hot grill plate the meat was solid cold in the middle (keep in mind that it's thin cut meat). The servers weren't happy that we came an hour before closing and we're rushing us to leave and gave us...

So female hispanic front member gave us an excellent service. Now, we dined in, you can check the cameras, we are a couple sitting by the drink station around 6:30-7:30pm. I was facing the front, where i can see the cook, the short hispanic guy, reheating his TORTILLA and eating without thinking while in the kitchen, didn’t care about your guests could see him. This shouldn’t be shown at all! Then he did it again for the 2nd time, without any hesitation, even staring the dining area ehile munching. Fee minutes after, a couple came to order, the cook after he ate, didn’t wssh his hands and continued to serve. This is so nasty....

This is a nice clean environment, the staff here are always accommodating and pleasant. On our first visit here I was hesitant because it seemed like a fast food environment and that wasn't what we wanted but the food is definitely of great quality and we have never been disappointed.

All of the items we have tried here have been great, the food has always been fresh and more than likely you will have leftovers.
