The location right on the lake is great. they have a deck set up so you can watch the traffic on the water. The inside is small, which is to be expected but it was air conditioned and they had a bathroom. Like most summer ice cream places, it's a group of teenagers running the place and I wasn't super confident in their understanding of allergies so we stuck with soft serve.
