Let me start off with the fact that Jersey Mike's make the best sub on a normal day, our employees love them. When we have a busy day we order from Jersey's through door dash. Today was terrible service. We ordered 11 subs 10 of them to add pickles. Door dash delivered the bag of which was sealed with tape, got the bag into the office but only had 10 subs-called Jersey's spoke to a very nice lady of which she apologized but said she would get the 11th sub made and just to come up and pick it up. I was fine with that she stated they were busy and only had 3 employees show up for work. I am a business owner as well so I completely understand short staffed. I was not irritated at all. Entered the store -patiently waited as yes they were busy-employee at cash register looked at me and ask what I needed -I told her that I was there to pick up the 1 sub that we did not get on our order-immediately she became combative raising her voice stating that she made the subs and she knows for a fact that the bag had 11 subs not 10 in the bag- I stated to her no I am sorry but there were definitely only 10 subs as I have an employee sitting at our warehouse with no lunch. First off we are very busy as well why would I take the time to drive up there after I did a door dash order to lie to Jersey's about a missing lunch order on top of the fact that I informed her that there where no pickles on any of the subs at that point she became irate stating that she knows for a fact that they had pickles on them because she made them and she wrote pickles on the bags-I told her I know you wrote pickles on the bag but none of our sandwiches had pickles. They had not even made the sub yet after I had given them 30 minutes before I drove up there. The whole point of the story is that I have never been treated with such disrespect in a public restaurant as this store to just sit there and continue to argue with a customer, I really wish that I would have brought the whole order with me to show these people that yes you could have been wrong due to being so busy and it would have been no big deal, unfortunately when I got back to our warehouse the guys had already eaten or I would have brought everything back and asked for a refund. Needless to say I left without the 11th sub because at that point I did not trust her to make a sub without doing something discussing to it. Jersey's Mike's in Lady Lake will never get our business again and you better do something about that employee she has issues that go far beyond...
Read moreAnytime an establishment has over 4.5 stars you know they are doing their customers right. It is plain to see why Jersey Mikes is one of the highest rated sub shops in the area. From the moment you walked in the aromas were overpowering with deliciousness. I had never been to a Jersey Mikes to eat before so I asked the employees what their favorite was, to which they steered me to the Philly cheese steak. The staff was very polite and they were very courteous to the customers. The cook who was making the food said it might be the best cheesesteak I’ve ever had and he did not disappoint. From the moment I opened the package the sub gleamed with a splendid aroma and you could see the cheese, steak and onions and peppers steaming. As I picked the sub up the bread was very soft and fresh. Many times you go to places and the bread is stale or not fresh but this certainly was. As I took the first bite my flavor buds popped. The flavors all morphed into an incredible sandwich that certainly should be proud of bearing the name Philly Cheesesteak. This establishment should be proud of the food they are putting out and I most certainly would eat here again. I do hope that the management sees this and continues to do their best at putting out a...
Read moreJersey Mike's is a nice made-to-order Sub Shop. They have their Special Subs and you can have them Mike's way or your way. They have a mini, small and full sized subs. They also have wraps. And you can add a drink and chips to your order for a 'meal'. Every sub is made fresh with the coldcuts and cheese sliced fresh just for your order. Our guest had a Philly Steak Sub, Jack had the Capicola and I had the Veggie. The Philly was very good but the only complaint was they make them in the back so there was no option for adding an ingredient. The Capicola was excellent, just the way it was ordered. When I ordered the Veggie, the gentleman who made my sub first thoroughly cleaned the slicer as it was used for both cold cuts and cheese. An important thing for Vegetarians so it was very nice it was done automatically. And it was a very good sub. Just wish they had olives or peppers to add to the sandwich. But all in all a very nice lunch was had by all. The restaurant itself has handicap accessible parking entrance and restrooms. It was clean and the staff was very, very pleasant, an important ingredient to a good meal. Also, it doesn't break the budget. Nice, nice and nice. It is open every day...
