Really disappointing experience, and I've been a loyal Chipotle customer since the first store opened in Denver. I ordered ahead in the app for my family of six to make sure everything was customized the way we wanted it. Arrived home to find items missing, other items made twice, and yet more items made incorrectly. Ruined our family dinner. I called in, couldn't speak to a person in charge. Was told the GM, Robert, went home and is off tomorrow. The best the person I talked to (Jesus) would offer was for me to come back for them to remake a burrito or give a refund of one burrito only. (I paid 50 bucks and had numerous problems with the order, so I was kind of insulted by this). What I really wanted was to come back a different night and have them remake my full order to give them a chance to do it right, like it should have been tonight. The guy told me to call their general 800 number. I had actually called it before calling the store, and got nothing but a generic voicemail. Jesus promised me a call back tomorrow from the location's "apprentice manager," Tony, and if he actually calls and makes things right, I'll edit my review. But if not, I'm warning all my Lafayette friends to avoid this location, because it just doesn't live up to the standards I've come to expect from Chipotle. I've never been so disappointed in my favorite restaurant. Edit: Never received the call next day as promised. Called back myself the day after that and talked to Robert. He apologized and invited me back to have our order remade. He advised to write out the full order, which I did, so it could be remade. He told me to ask for Toni (not Tony as I indicated earlier) and said he would inform her of the plan. I arrived 30 minutes later. Toni made things much worse. She said she didn't know any specifics of what was supposed to happen. I explained and showed her the list that Robert had me write out. She acted like I was trying to pull a fast one and demanded to see proof of my original order. I retrieved the in-app order. She then said she would only issue a refund, not remake the order, because "we're too busy right now and our policy is to only issue refunds." She said if I wanted the food remade, I had to get in line to order, or type it all into the app again. When she went to issue the refund, she came up with a total of $39 and change. I told her this was ten bucks less than what we paid two nights before. She again regarded me with suspicion, and I had to pull up the credit card charge on my phone before she would believe me. She then went through and found her mistake, and the new total was exactly what I had indicated. (She did not apologize for essentially calling me a liar.) I asked why I never received the callback from her the day before and she said I didn't leave my phone number. (I left my name and number with Jesus, and he promised he would write them down and have Toni call me the next day.) I told her this and she said I was now "trying to get a refund AND free food." I never asked for, nor suggested, anything of the sort. I then had to reorder everything in-app (I did pay again) and wait for the new, online order. To their credit, all six entrées were made correctly this time. However, they forgot the kids' chips and chocolate milk in our kids meal, which I didn't realize until I got home. My daughter was sad about this. Altogether, this ordeal was terrible. This Chipotle is the worst I have ever seen in two decades. Toni humiliated me and made a bad situation exponentially worse. She is an embarrassment to the company and the brand, and has no business working at a Chipotle, let alone managing one. I will never eat at this location again, and will be escalating as high up in corporate as I possibly can. I don't want anything free; rather, I want them to know what this location is doing to...

Read moreInconsistent taste and quantity. 15-Mar-21, Generally really like Chipotle and enjoy it all over the U.S. However the store closest to my home in Colorado at 548 W. South Boulder Rd in Lafayette Colorado is consistently inconsistent. Paid just a hair under $50 for dinner for 3 burritos, a bowl, 2 guacs and side of chips and guac. After getting half way through the burritos we all unwrapped them to check and compare how much meat, or lack thereof, was in them. One had 9 chunks of chicken, one had 10 chunks of steak and other had 11 chunks of chicken. The bowl had 8 chunks of chicken. Keep in mind these are probably 3/8 to 1/2 inch chopped pieces (SMALL PIECES) so we basically paid $50 for rice, beans and lettuce. Not even a single serving of protein. Really disappointing to work hard and pay for sub-standard products. The guac was bland/flat, the chips had zero lime salt. Just another bad experience at this particular Chipotle. I suspect this is due to a lack of quality management & oversight. All appeared to be high school kids (except one) with no real leadership. 3 of the 6 working appeared more interested in chatting with each other and dancing to music playing in the store. Online only order option sucks. Too long to navigate long orders and with customers separated to entry of store only, there is no in person customer concern or regard from employees, almost as if customers do not exist, just a screen to fill orders. REALLY, REALLY...
