Was pretty disappointed to see that the employees at this brand new location have not been trained in basic sanitation practices around food. A few of them were not wearing masks while working with the food, despite there being a statewide law requiring them to be worn indoors right now (which I normally wouldn’t complain about except these people were working with our food). The girl folding the pizza boxes wasn’t wearing a mask the entire time I was there, and she even picked up her dirty phone and scrolled through it for a bit and then went right back to folding the boxes without sanitizing her hands. The guy making the pizza dough was intermittently eating food with his bare hands, then rolling out dough without washing or sanitizing his hands in between, and he also wasn’t wearing a mask (until he finished eating). Management is clearly lax on food handling practices. Given there’s a pandemic going on right now, this is a brand new location, and these employees didn’t think there was anything wrong with behaving this way out in front of customers. I can’t imagine how bad they are in the kitchen where nobody can see them. Won’t be going back.

Cosmos is an out of this world pizza experience. So strap in and get ready for takeoff. It all starts with their hand stretched dough. Every pie that goes into their stacked ovens is stretched to thin, even perfection. Then like a planet that orbits the sun they put circular swirls of red sauce on each slice until the zesty, tangy and a touch spicy base is spread evenly across the dough. Finally they sprinkle on whole milk mozzarella and premium toppings then bake the pizza to thin and slightly crispy perfection. While the pizza is good. What really takes it to another galaxy is the spicy ranch. They house bad sauce should be smothered on every slice because it adds a creamy and dreamy yet hot and spicy sensation to each bite. So buy a 24inch pizza get a jar of ranch and be ready to take your tastebuds on an intergalactic flavor adventure.

I could say that this place did not live up to the reputation and hype. The pizza was not tasty at all. Just regular junk food. They were comparable to pizza hut or dominos but you will be paying extra money for it. Felt it was a waste to try out. Of course you can get a big pizza, but that's about it. Nothing special. I don't think I'll be going there until I see any discounts or coupons.

UPDATE: Still the worst location to have opened and have given it multiple chances since. I have ordered in the last couple of weeks and they forgotten my marinara for my breadsticks, no big deal, but tonight I ordered again and the delivery driver said the store gave him the pizza and marinara sauce, but not the breadsticks. I literally sent the whole thing back and cancelled my order. This place literally cannot get it together no matter how many chances it gets.

I'm actually quite disappointed with this location. I was excited when they moved into the Lafayette area, since I have been a fan of them since I was in high school. I've been a constant customer at the Boulder and Denver location and have always gotten there 1 topping special deal and have never had a problem EVER.

Today this location has lost my business for good, maybe its nothing to them, but I have ordered 4-5 times in the 2 weeks or so they have been open. I called to get my usual and as I am done ordering they give me a total that is incorrect and I ask why the price doesn't match up. They go on to explain that a pizza with toppings is extra and I say that I asked for the 1 topping pizza deal that they have been doing and every other Cosmos does, which brings people in over other pizza places and he says that they don't have a deal like this. I was confused because this is a deal the other locations have and I have always ordered, so I had him ask the manager just to make sure and they said they don't do this 1 topping deal.

In all, this place was looking like it was going to be a great addition to the neighborhood, but sadly this place doesn't care about the community of Lafayette or the long time Cosmos name. I am beyond disappointed with this Cosmos location and have lost mine and every person I can persuades business and have them go to the other delicious and fair pizza places such as Abos and Lucky Pie! Such a...

Hi there everyone! From the start, I will say I have a biased opinion, based on the fact that I am an employee here. I will say it’s difficult to read these reviews some of you have left. The employees at Cosmos are truly, truly working hard to satisfy every single one of you that walks in our doors. We clean every chance we get, our hands are getting dry from how much we are washing our hands, we’re bleaching the door handles, just to make sure that you all feel safe in eating out during this pandemic. The last thing we want is to have someone be dissatisfied with our pizza, or the store in general. We want to give you the best experience possible, and I would hope that some of you understand that we as a store are going through something we’ve never gone through before. We want to get your order correct, we want to correct our mistakes, and we want you to be able to walk in knowing that we will take care of you and your pizza needs. Sometimes it just takes a little patience! Every day we are working to be a better team, and a better store for all of you. There are ups and downs and we acknowledge that at the end of the day, but for those of you who have come in/ordered delivery and were left unsatisfied, we’re trying to be better each and every day! Remember that Friday’s and weekends are our absolute most busy times, and the wait might be slightly longer, but we do deferred orders if you want to plan ahead! If you haven’t had the chance to come in quite yet, or are scared off by some of these reviews, I highly, highly recommend you come in(wearing a mask), meet us, and really see for yourselves how much we care about our customers, our pizza, and each other....

It pains me to have to leave a one star review, but my experience tonight (and that of other customers) was awful.

The night before thanksgiving, they got swamped with orders. There was simply more demand than they could produce. When I went to go pick up my order, 45 minutes after placing it, i was told “just about 10 more minutes”. Fine. Then I checked again 10 minutes later— “just 5 or 10 more minutes”. I’m noticing more and more customers waiting around for their orders as well. Finally 30 minutes after my scheduled pick up time, 1:15 after placing the order, I am able to get their attention again. One worker told me that my pizza has burned 3 times in the oven, another has told me that my order hasn’t even begun yet. It was clear that I was lied to about the status of my order all along, which was extremely frustrating. I wish they had just been up front at the beginning. Try something like this — “we got swamped with orders and are understaffed. We won’t be able to fulfill your order for another 45-60 minutes and understand this may be an inconvenience. If you need to cancel your order, we understand and apologize, here’s a coupon off of your next order “. Instead I had to cancel my order on the spot to get home— they did ask if I still wanted the pizza, as if I was just asking for a discount— i wanted my time back, which they obviously could not do, and I was not going to give them the chance to waste more of my time.

I was blatantly lied to as a customer, and when I called them out for lying, i just got more excuses. While I have enjoyed Cosmos for many years and really like their pizza, I will never go back after...
