Dutch Bros Coffee — Restaurant in Lafayette

The first time I visited this Dutch Bros, it was opening day so they were extremely busy, which is completely fine. They did mess up my drink. My drink it was not sugar-free and it was not mocha ; they apologized made me a new drink and I went about my way. Not a big deal because mistakes happen. Especially on opening day when it's crazy busy. Came back another day with my husband and raved about their coffee. Mind you, this is not the first Dutch Bros I've been to. He ordered an energy drink. He wasn't thrilled with the flavors offered anyways but I reassured him that it would be wonderful no matter what he got. I ordered my typical protein, sugar-free, mocha hopscotch coffee iced And he ordered the tiger's blood energy blended. We first off, got cut off by the car next to us when we were instructed to pull up to the car right in front of us. Could have been a simple miscommunication, again not a big deal. Get to the window and of course the service with the employees is absolutely astonishing. They are amazing and they are always so kind! However, when we got our drinks, mine was not mocha, it was not sugar-free, and I was given the wrong size. My husband's drink was not blended (it was iced) and so bland that we ended up throwing it away. Normally I can muster down just about anything to drink but this literally had no flavor. Almost as if it was watered down. The first experience I chalked up to it being opening day and they were just extremely busy. But this is now the second experience that has been terrible. The service is amazing. Even when the lines are long, they're pretty quick and everyone is so kind; however, it doesn't matter if the product doesn't even remotely meet expectations. I do not like leaving bad reviews but this honestly just has been the worst products I've ever received from...

I was a bit brainless and tried the drive through knowing it's crawled snailpace since they opened! Should've parked and walked right up to the patio window! Silly me, oh well next time I'm parking, the rather short car line started right at the entrance still took twenty months. Give me plenty of time to check and double check and triple check the app for special seasonal, coffee, chai, and surprisingly hefty selection of mostly calorie heavy beverages. But we knew that right? This is not Sacred Grounds where espresso has standards. This is the celebration station like a beach resort, got that mudslide shake like a child and almost complained about the sugar like an adult. Very thankful they let one swap around ingredients without extra charge, prices are reasonable, and service shared more festive cheer than I've seen in December. I see why this place gets the cult following. It is a classic Disney cartoon...

I love Dutch Bros and this new location is amazing! We were so excited to get one here in Lafayette and opening day was amazing - line was long but it moved fast and the atmosphere was so so fun. All of the staff we talked to were so friendly and energetic, and the music was upbeat and totally fun. Honestly it felt like a party in line and my kids LOVED it.
