I want to start this review, with my apologies because I didn't take a picture, of my first visit to, Five Below.
It's another, Dollar Store Tree, with a glorified name attached, with jacked up pricing. Not exactly, Below Five..
Their isles were cluttered and not many people in the store. If you been to Dollar Tree, the cluttered isles were their biggest complaint.
Now, they do got heart, they did have ambition, but from my experience, they had team play.
The community here will figure it out and see that's it's another Dollar Tree. A lot of the same merchandise as the Dollar Tree, for even more money. Pffft, I stopped for a birthday card, $8.65 I was charged, and it wasn't a Hallmark.
I don't see the store staying alive in the near future there at McAlister's Strip Mall. I needed the birthday card though because it was my step granddaughters tenth birthday on Monday.
I was at the, Verizon Store, just a couple door down. I had to go to the store to verifying, I was who I say I was because I forgot my 4 digit security pin number. I got my, "new last smartphone" I'll use in my life's journey. So, I don't know why I didn't take pictures. I have to go back, to give my lost trade-in device that I found.
Back to the store review. I'm not sure how long the have been there, but none of the other stores, that was in Five Below before them didn't stay long either. To much on the floor the causes the clutter. Sorry, it's a review and my opinion. And it's ok to disagree. Have a Great Day, Folks, and Happy...
Read moreGenerally I love five below, but I ordered a pickup order and was met with extremely rude employees. I went in a bit over 4 hours after ordering and asked politely if they could look for my one item since I was going out of town, fully understanding if they said no. The cashier rolled her eyes and rudely said into the walky talky that thereâs a pick up order, then turned to the next customer without saying anything else. I waited 15 minutes with no other response, then went up to the lady that walked up to be the second cashier and asked again. She went back to look, but whispered to the other cashier on the way out. She came back and said âI just donât see it, donât have it, and donât have time to look. You can come back to my store room if you think Iâm lyingâ. I responded no thatâs okay thank you, I just needed to know if I needed to cancel my order if it wasnât there. It was frustrating as I was extremely polite and wouldâve understood if they said I had to wait for an email to pickup my order, but both workers present were...
Read moreThe name of the store threw me off, until someone enlightened me of what the store really was. Most everything is $5, but BEWARE bc often times you can find better deals/quality outside of stores like these or dollar tree. However, despite it being another store like dollar tree, it does have some better quality items than what one might expect. They have a very large variety of summer type/kids outdoor items and activity type products; as well as a fairly decent selection of electronic gadgets and phone/tablet accessories as well. Unfortunately, I didn't find to much in the home care products. The majority of the staff were very friendly, with the exception of the cashier. She seemed to have another agenda that didn't involve working; but I have seen far worse attitudes from employees at [sadly] several other marketplace venues throughout Lafayette. Overall, it's definitely a store worth checking out...
