Every's — Restaurant in Lafayette

We were able to attend a private, early opening for Every's and it was fantastic! We each picked a "flight" of ice cream to get 3 different flavors, ultimately trying 9 different ones between us. My husband's favorite were a banana ice cream followed by the Bourbon ice cream. For my flight, I loved all 3 flavors: Crazy for Coconut, Red Velvet Chocolate Swirl, and Peppermint Chocolate chunk (names may not be exact!). My 15yo daughter is a chocolate ice cream connoisseur and her comment was "Wow Now Brownie Cow is the best chocolate ice cream I have ever had!" The ice cream needs no toppings or extras. A new ice cream place in Lafayette! And, it's different in that the "star" is the ice cream flavors, not toppings. Don't expect sundaes; it's just scoops of the flavors you choose. I had their "three flavor flight" with "Bourbon Trail, Mint Chocolate Chip, and Espresso Chip." All quite good. The ice cream has a very creamy texture, not hard as some store-bought ice creams, and the flavors are oh so subtle. My favorite, surprisingly, was the Bourbon Trail; amazingly wonderful flavor! Our first visit to Every’s was great. Modern decor and very clean and nice inside with good seating options which is nice in cold weather months. The ice cream is outstanding. Very creamy and smooth. Wife and I had a flight of Cinnamon Roll, Cookies and Cream, and Espresso Chip. All three were excellent.
