Jump Start Cafe — Restaurant in Lafayette

Thank God — we finally found a great local coffee spot in Lafayette! The coffee is excellent, the staff is genuinely warm and welcoming, and the atmosphere is one-of-a-kind. There’s a unique charm to the place, especially with the classic car decor that adds so much personality while you sip on a delicious cup.

I also really appreciated learning the story behind the shop — it gives the whole experience more meaning. Bonus points for sourcing their beans from a local roaster!

The only downside? They close at 3 PM. But since they’re still new, here’s hoping they’ll extend their hours soon. They also need some branding on their to-go cups to make it standout.

Adorable automotive nerd shop with beautiful vintage restored car part tables and decoration, atmosphere is top tier! A wheel good time! I heard rave reviews about their breakfast quiche but I've not tried it yet. Have sampled a couple of the drinks, fantastic miel. They do not make their syrups in house so everything is a bit oversaturated with sucrose. Coffee is not Sacred Grounds, Wanderlust, or Eleventh House quality but small potatoes. I got the morris mocha and it really tastes amazing. However the building is so small there was hardly anywhere for me to stand to wait for my drink. I have some sensory problems so it was very hard to wait inside the building with people pretty much smashed together. I also wish that they had larger coffee sizes, like 30 oz iced cups. I will return once they get a bigger building and more room inside. Or maybe when there's hardly any customers and I can come in during the slow part of the day. But like I said, really good...
