I came to lafeyette im 2020 right when the george floyd demistrations was strong. I showed a lady named miranda some art and she said "we just had a meeting about divrtsity yesterday and you waljed in today". She introduced me to a lady name ann who seen my work and asked could i do a showing the next year in oct and i agreed. I did the show and it was great we had a good response but things changed the next year. Ann and miranda left and after that it seemed like the attitude roward me as a black artist changed! I stopped getting emails every event i put in to participateve was rejected and every time i walk in now i feel so unwelcomed. I feel like i was used for my skin color (im black) to make the t.a.f seem d8verse at the time. Now because thevpolitical climate has changed their racial bias is out in the open, the same as purdue who used me around the same time to design their juneteenth artwork for their tshirts...

This group is primarily senior citizens and taxpayers and featured on the website. Most are turning around and going home or just not coming. NOT the way to promote the Arts in Tippecanoe County.
